What’s the top 5 Struggles you face as an Entrepreneur?

Being an entrepreneur, you have to be prepared to:

1. Get your hands dirty – you don’t have the luxury of a team of army to assist you. So be prepared to get things done on your own.

2. Be on top of all things – you must be a all rounder, which is very different from being an employee where you just focus on one specific thing.

3. Get things done faster, cheaper & better – remember you no longer work for corporate, learn to get things done the lean startup way.

4. Recruiting talent to join you – this is by far second toughest. The toughest is #5.

5. Convincing talent not to leave you!

How many failed startups were you involved in before this?

This is my second attempt in my start-up journey. My first was in F&B which failed spectacularly. It lasted just 12 months. Having said that, that experience goes a long way in shaping who I am today.

Are you a coffee person? What brand do your drink?

Not a coffee-holic, but I do enjoy a cup of hot choc occasionally.

At which point will you consider yourself a successful entrepreneur?

When I achieve the goal I set before the start-up kick-starts. And I am always thankful that I have wonderful co-founders and awesome team that always stick together to make things happen!

What inspires you? Or Who?

Happy customers! Seeing our product actually helps couple to plan their dream wedding. Receiving testimonials from awesome members and merchants simply inspires us continue to do more!

Do you have an inspiring quote which you like to share?

“Think big, and all problems become small”

What advice do you have for fellow entrepreneurs getting started?

Toughen up yourself… entrepreneurship journey is not a bed of roses. While you always hear about other’s success stories, what you don’t usually see are the sweat & failure that they have gone through.
