Female Cougars Win First Of Weekend Series

The Northern Female Cougars took their first victory of a jam-packed weekend schedule. The Cats downed the Vancouver Island Hurricanes 4-1 this morning. Hunter Mosher, Ava Keis, Jocelyn Forrest and Marissa Nichol scored for the Cougars. The teams meet again at 5:45 tonight and 8:30 tomorrow morning. Prince George RCMP Respond To 90 Halloween Calls

Canfor Releases Third Quarter Results

Canfor Corporation has released results for its third quarter of 2014, reporting a shareholder net income of $45.5 million dollars, or 34 cents per share. Radiothon Surpasses $50,000 In Donations

The 10th annual Spirit of the North Radiothon has raised over $51,000. Proceeds go to the purchase of a Pulmonary Function Lab, which provides diagnostics required to treat Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease — or COPD.
