Ormond Beach, FL-Granada Bridge will be decked out in U.S. flags to mark Wednesday’s 9/11 anniversary. City spokeswoman Loretta Moisio says the flags will fly all day on Wednesday and be removed Thursday morning.

Among other area events marking the anniversary of the worst ever terrorist attack on the U.S. is a Palm Coast ceremony Wednesday morning. Details are here.

Signature HealthCARE of Ormond Beach will hold a ceremony Wednesday morning at 10:30am at it’s facility at 103 North Clyde Morris Boulevard. Chaplain Carol Hamilton says the public is invited to attend and the ceremony will conclude with a butterfly release which Hamilton says symbolizes “life and freedom”. A representative of Congressman Ron DeSantis is set to speak at that event.
