Sunnana SK of Sweden midfielder, Helen Ukaonu has reiterated
that the Super Falcons will be going for this month’s Africa Women
Championships in Equatorial Guinea with the sole aim of retaining the title won
two years ago in South Africa.

Ukaonu who was part of Coach Kadiri Ikhana’s team during the qualifiers series told reporters after her first training session with the team in the Abuja that she is positive the Falcons can o it again
According to her, the Falcons will take nothing for granted as they intend to retain their AWC crown in Equatorial Guinea.
-We are the defending champions and we want to retain this title. She said.

-All the teams are tough and they are all preparing for the tournament but we have to work hard and believe in ourselves in order to achieve our goal. Ukaonu concluded.
The Super Falcons will kick of their title defense on October 29, 2012 against the Indomitable Lionesses, in Bata.
