frost dwarf

A community of dwarves living in the tunnels within Sword Mountain and ruled by king Ulfgor Frostborn and queen Auldhild Frostborn until they were deposed by Yragmul the frost giant who broke the king's magic crown in half. This vandalism changed the frost dwarves into normal ones and left them demoralised, leading to them being conquered and enslaved. It is not mentioned how a frost dwarf is different to a normal dwarf and whether they have any magical powers but when the king and queen revert back to their frost dwarf status their skin turns pale white and their hair and beard becomes sparkling ice.
