TRAVELLING TO THE MERSEYRAIL COMMUNITY STADIUM BY CAR

DIRECTIONS FROM LIVERPOOL

From Liverpool, take the A59 north through Aintree, Maghull and towards Ormskirk, and then follow the A570 around Ormskirk town centre towards Southport.

Upon entering Southport you will come to a large roundabout with retail park containing Tesco and McDonalds outlets. Take the third exit onto Scarisbrick New Road (A570) where the stadium will be visible on the right. Pass The Richmond pub on the left and turn right into Haig Avenue.

Alternatively, from Liverpool take the A565 north through Crosby and Formby. Upon reaching Ainsdale take the A5267, then turn right on the A570 and left into Haig Avenue.

CAR PARKING

There is no car park at the ground as such, however there are plenty of surrounding streets. Restrictions are sometimes in place – check for any warning signs.

TRAVELLING TO MERSEYRAIL COMMUNITY STADIUM BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT

BY TRAIN

Trains run directly from Liverpool Lime Street to Southport station, with journeys typically lasting 50 minutes. Southport station is located a mile-and-a-half away from the ground and it costs around £4 in a taxi to the stadium.

BY BUS

From Southport station, catch the number 44 Arriva bus which runs every 20 minutes from Eastbank Street (at 02, 22 and 42 past the hour). In the evenings, the 44a goes from the same stop but is only every half hour (at 17 and 47 past the hour).
