Stayed one night whilst walking The Herriott Way. Good location which we found easily. Friendly welcome. Room and bathroom were very clean although perhaps a little dated. Well stocked hospitality tray with fresh milk provided on arrival. Breakfast was fantastic! Plentiful, good quality and well cooked - especially the scrambled egg! Overall a very good stay.

Stopped here for lunch with my husband, daughter and dog. I was very grateful to find somewhere that would allow us to bring our dog inside with us, as well as providing a truly wonderful bowl of soup. The carrot and lentil soup was delicious and I enjoyed every spoonful. If you are visiting Hawes, I would definitely recommend stopping off... More

My husband and I took a rare day out to visit Hawes and stopped here for a quick drink and a bite to eat mid afternoon. The weather was a bit miserable and we had our 6 month old puppy with us so were limited as to where we could go. The place said it was dog friendly and indeed... More

Nice little B&B, just through the main street in Hawes. Very good price, nice breakfast and a decent night sleep. There is nothing negative I can say about this place. Breakfast was good, location brilliant. We were lucky enough to park a few houses down, but could be a hassle if no spaces.

Superb stay. The B&B is well situated and easy to find. The bedrooms are lovely with the most impressive views.Breakfast was easily one of the best we have ever had. Enjoyed watching Pye the owners dog who is the friendliest you could hope to meet. The owners were very friendly and even better for us rugby union supporters! This place... More

Lovely place to stay in Hawes. Really warm welcome. Clean, tidy, comfortable and a great breakfast. We'll definitely stay at Laburnum House again. Recommend a bite to eat at The Fountain but id advise a smaller portion unless you have a really big apetite.
