Sia Furler's Mystery Fiance Revealed! Singer Songwriter is Engaged to American Documentary Maker Erik Anders Lang

Adelaide-born singer Sia Furler is engaged to American documentary maker Erick Anders Lang, The Advertiser reported.

The pop sensation hit the red carpet on Wednesday with a ring and a handsome man on her arm. The newly engaged couple attended a non-profit event for the Wayuu Taya foundation that helps indigenous communities in Latin America.

The usually camera-shy star posed at the red carpet while revealing her engagement ring. She also shared a kiss with her fiancé as they arrived at the event.

Sia was flashing her diamond encrusted engagement ring with her little-black-dress covered in a dark suit. The braided blonde wore a pair of bold red stilettos to complete the ensemble.

On the other hand, her beau was also seen wearing a ring on his finger, suggesting that the couple "could have been married" even though they just announced their engagement, according to MailOnline.

On Friday, her mother, Adelaide artist Loene Furler, confirmed the news to The Advertiser. However, Sia's rep just said "no comment" when MailOnline asked if they were already married.

The openly bisexual singer expressed her desire to marry former girlfriend, JD Sampson, in 2010. But, during the past years, she has not been linked to someone else.

Sia is known for her collaborations with the biggest names in music including Kylie Minogue, Rihanna and Beyoncé.

In an iFrom filtered title interview a month ago, Sia shared that she almost had suicide years ago. She already had a stockpile of drugs and a written suicide note.

After four years of rehab, Sia is still creating music. Her new album, under her own name, has multiple collaborations with other singers.

Sia, 38, grew up in North Adelaide. She went to England in her 20s to meet her former boyfriend, Dan Pontifex. Unfortunately, Pontifex died days before she arrived in London.

Her most recent collaboration was with "Glee" star Lea Michelle. They wrote a song that was dedicated to the late Cory Monteith, who died of drug overdose.

Lang is a known docu-maker who's had previous productions for TED, Guggenheim Museum and Louis Vuitton.
