とうとう2人の日本人の人質と共に、日本も国際テロの波に巻き込まれてしまいました。ここでは、イスラム国の脅迫分を翻訳したものを紹介します。

イスラム国からの脅迫文の全文が入手できましたので取り上げます。

ただし、ツイッターから出た文章なので本物かどうかは確証はありません。しかし、日本語に訳してみるとメディアで放送されている脅迫文とほぼ同じです。

You proudly donated $100 million to kill our women and children, to destroy the homes of Muskims. So the life of this chaperones citizen will cost you $100 million.

And in an attempt to stop the expansion of the Islamic State you also donated another $100 million to train the Mortadeen (Apostates)aganist the Mojahedeen(The hoky warriors) and so the life of this Jananese citizen will cost you another $100 million.

And to the Japanese public, just as your government has made the foolish decision to pay $200 million to fight the Islamic State, you now have 72 hours to pressure your government in making a wise decision by paying the $200 million to save the lives of your citizens. Othereise this knife will become your nightmare."

(hokyの意味は「まやかし、でっちあげ」となるので、ここは「holy 聖なる、神聖な」のタイプミスと考えられます。holy warrior は聖なる戦士、聖戦士、崇高な戦士等の訳にしました）

こんな感じで訳しました。日本のメディアで翻訳されて放送されていますので、ご存じと思いますが、原文で読むとまた違った感じもします。

この英文は、英文法を中心に英語を学ぶ日本人にとても分かりやすくなっています。ひょっとしたら、日本の国民に読んで欲しかったのかもしれません。
