“Mikaela has spent the last three weeks trialing with the Canberra TransACT Capitals for contract with the team for this season,” said Mark Cartwright.

 “She has shown enough at training and in the practice games to earn herself a place in the squad for the upcoming season and we are looking forward to seeing her take the court with the Capitals.”

Today’s announcement will see Mikaela join the seven time premiership winning club for her first season as a Canberra TransACT Capital.

The Capitals commence their 2011/12 WNBL season with a road double playing the Grand Final replay against the Bulleen Boomers in Melbourne on Saturday 8 October and back up against the Dandenong Rangers on Sunday 9 October in Dandenong.
