Nine years after taking the arcade gaming scene by storm and over six years after making its original home console debut, "Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes" returns! Slated to hit Xbox 360's Xbox Live Arcade and PS3's PSN, expect the same fast, furious and fantastic gameplay you loved with even more awesome online head-to-head action!

The fine folks over at the PlayStation Blog have announced that PS3 gamers will get an EXCLUSIVE, free demo of "Marvel vs. Capcom 2" via PSN starting Thursday, April 30!
The demo features two-player local matches with six available characters (Iron Man, Spider-Man, Wolverine, Ryu, Chun-Li and Strider) across seven different environments! And yes, the graphics will be upscaled to 1080p with both widescreen and 4:3 aspect ratio options. There will be more goodies, but you'll have to download the demo to find out what they are!

OMG I'm so excited!! I seriously tried to buy this guy just this month on ebay and I kept losing!!! At least now I'll finally get to play this legendary game. I can't wait to get amazing combos with Storm!!
All I know is that I'm excited.I got lucky walking into a Gamestop years ago, saw this on the shelves, and snatched it up quickly for my PS2....Paid $55 USED!!!!!! Anywho, it broke on me and after talking trash to my brother about what team we would choose to beat down on one another, I'm not looking at who's missing or who should be included, let alone a possible MvC3...I'm just waiting on the download.

The game was right on target for the Comic timeline. It would seem weird looking back on it now.

I hope they make it available for PC I loved this game in the arcade but I don't have a console system and until I can find a really REALLY good reason to get one, I can't play it.

Literally my favorite fighting game of all time. I'm so excited this is coming back, in ANY form. I will not cry like the other wii users. And my 360 doesn't even go live. So I'll buy a PS3 for this. Totally worth it.

I always loved this game every time I went to the arcades and now it's back!!! But I can't help notice that it's back only for Xbox 3060, PS3 and PSP! Did you guys forget about the Wii or the DSi??? A lot of people don't have those consoles and would love to play it if they only have the Wii.Maybe someone there should bring it up with the makers and include the Nintendo consoles as well so that everyone who's play MVC2 will get the chance to play. The say thing goes for future MVC games. I would like to see it on all consoles.

How crazy is this after hookin up my dreamcast and playing this game over the weekend...all of a sudden its coming out on PSN!!! O yeaH! I hope it gets fan's cryin out for a Marvel vs Capcom 3!!!!!
I hate signing up for websites but I signed up for marvel's website solely because of this game. I want to say thank you. Capcom is one of the top game company. On top of that they really do know how to make Marvel characters shine. I never liked or knew a lot about marvel characters but I play games. Because of it, I was able to learn more about the marvel cast and storyline. I went to watch marvel movies because of it and even purchased some of the other marvel games not made by Capcom. I got to say, the other companies did not make the characters appeal as much as MvC2 did. Again, thank you for allowing this to happen. MvC3 = major profits and an increase in fans of both Capcom and Marvel. Can't wait for summer release.

Can't wait for this! It'll be great to have some frantic online play. I keep getting tempted to pull the Dreamcast and arcade stick out of storage for some MvC2.
