Paranautical Activity: Deluxe Atonement Edition out now on Steam

Saturday, 14 February 2015 20:25 GMT By Stephany Nunneley

Paranautical Activity has returned to Steam as Paranautical Activity: Deluxe Atonement Edition.

The Code Avarice-developed game was removed from Steam after one of its creators, Mike Maulbeck, went on a Twitter tirade against Valve boss Gabe Newell over his game being featured on Steam’s promotional carousel as an Early Access title when it had already left the stage.

Maulbeck has the game pulled off Steam Greenlight by Valve when it was revealed Adult Swim has offered a publishing contract, which isn’t allowed per Greenlight’s terms.

The game was taken to Kickstarter after being taken off the service.

After all of this, Code Avarice sold Digerati Distribution the rights to Paranautical Activity, which has now put the title back onto Steam.

Released today, the game now contains an “extra level type, weapon and item,” per PC Gamer.
