You're welcome to visit St. John's Cathedral, 9am-4pm, Monday through Saturday. Most people, though, find their visit enriched by learning the stories behind the stones. We have a number of volunteer tour guides who are eager to share their love of St. John's with you.

Guided tours of St. John’s Cathedral are available Wednesday (1st & 3rd & 5th of month), Friday and Saturday from 11am until 2pm. On Sundays, guided tours are available for one hour after the last morning worship service. The tour usually lasts around 45 minutes.

There's no charge for tours and no reservations necessary for small groups; just come during the stated tour time. To arrange a tour for groups of 10 or more, please contact us 10 business days or more in advance of the visit. Group tour bookings normally are not made more than 90 days in advance.

Naturally, funerals, weddings, civic and cultural events take place in our parish, and tours will not be given during these events. If you're traveling a distance to visit, you may want to call before coming and double-check availability. Enter the Cathedral through the Welcome Center or South Transept doors on 12th Avenue.
