pic© is a new – No venue – Gallery made up of a long-experienced professional team from museums, foundations and big private companies, from Capri, Turin, Milan, Rome and Naples with the goal to promote Italian artistic photography in the world.
pic© promotes its artists through agreements with galleries around the world, allowing collectors from every country to know the quality of the Italian art.
Since the sixties, Italian photography, has had a period where it has bloomed considerably. The authors selected and represented by pic© are the absolute protagonists of that artistic adventure which conception of photography. They are authors who have experienced and reflected on a specific awareness of photography, dealing with the languages of contemporary art in the process. They are artists who inform the world, in particular of, the history of a country, Italy, in a time of great transformation. Through a narrative that is strongly linked with its ability to fascinate via the history of everything that could be considered Italian style. Our photographers have developed a real language and have influenced generations of young authors, created schools and oriented points of view. pic© works with many important artists including: Olivo Barbieri, Piergiorgio Branzi, Vincenzo Castella, Giovanni Chiaramonte, Franco Fontana, Maurizio Galimberti, Gianni Berengo Gardin, Francesco Jodice, Mimmo Jodice, Nino Migliori, Ferdinando Scianna e Paolo Ventura.
