Founder / Chief Executive Officer / Instructor
Brooke Guidry is the CEO and Founder of TCA. Brooke previously worked as an ABA therapist at Autism Learning Center in Lafayette until it closed in 2011. Upon its closing, Brooke saw a great opportunity to continue doing what she loved: serving those with developmental delays. Together with her parents, Mark and Colleen Guidry, they decided to open a therapy center to better serve the needs of Acadiana by offering behavioral therapies, social skills training, and related services. In the summer of 2011, the plans to open TCA were completed.
As CEO, Brooke oversees the day-to-day operations of the center, human resources, client satisfaction, scheduling, consultations and admissions, offsite classroom intervention training, and also the public relations and marketing of TCA.
Brooke studied Special Education at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette as well as Child and Family Studies at Louisiana State University in Eunice. During her studies at ULL and LSUE, Brooke acquired many hours of training and observation while working with individuals of all ages with various developmental disorders. Brooke has been an active participant in various fundraising events for organizations in Acadiana such as Autism Society, The Down Syndrome Association of Acadiana, and Families Helping Families. She has also volunteered for the Special Olympics for the past 10 years. Brooke is excited to see her long-term plans for TCA unfold as the business continues to grow. Brooke is a certified ABA Therapist, a Certified Assessment Administrator, and is also First Aid and CPR certified.
Brooke can be reached via phone at (337) 233-1167 or via email at TCAcadiana@yahoo.com.
Mark and his wife, Colleen, invested in TCA in May of 2011. They are both devoted to helping disabled people of all ages in any way they can. When their youngest daughter Brooke came to them with her plans to open a therapy center in the Acadiana area, they were honored to help. They provided the financial support the company needed to get off the ground and were excited to provide jobs for others with the same devotion as their daughter's.
Mark is a successful businessman in the Acadiana area and has owned several of his own oilfield companies over the past 30 years. He serves as a mentor for Brooke as she learns the ropes of running her own business.
Colleen, a homemaker, has always found joy in devoting her free time to helping others in need and supporting Mark through all of his business ventures. Colleen volunteers her time at TCA when extra hands are needed.
Mark and Colleen are eager to watch as the center steadily grows and as Brooke's future plans to expand TCA unfold.
