- Update: So I’m out of the penalty box, and wanted to put in one last word. Thanks to all of you who read and responded to what I wrote. To those who clearly didn’t read or didn’t consider my points, thank you for illustrating my thesis. Too many...1758 comments 572 Recs
- Short but sweet: I’ve only been here eight years, which isn’t as long as many. It has become especially clear over the past year, however, that this venue cannot support serious and robust political debate. I cannot be part of a venue that will put a...640 comments 197 Recs
- In the 11+ years I have been here, not once have I had a tip jar h/r. I saw the post about the Wikileaks link, posted here as a way of giving people a heads up and I had people h/r my tip jar and calling for my head. Hmmm, now where are we at. The...778 comments 369 Recs

- Not much of a diary but i have not seen this anywhere here. And some of you wonder why some of us don’t trust the tone deaf Democratic Party establishment. To quote Bob Marley “They Stab You In The Back, And They Claim That You’re Not Looking” ...102 comments 20 Recs
- I’ve been away from Daily Kos for the past 10 days. I intended it to be longer, because kos has made it more explicit than ever that he believes independent citizens have no business attempting to influence the policies or nominations of the Democratic...1070 comments 270 Recs
