Shashidhara Adapa B, born on the 1st September 1955 in Mangalore is a leading art director and is acclaimed as one of the best interactive set designer in Karnataka. With a work experience spread over three decades, Shashidhara Adapa  has designed, conceptualized and executed sets for numerous theatre productions, feature films, television software, event stages, exhibitions and all other related aspects of show business. Shashidhara Adapa the proprietor of Prathiroopi is also the president of the Karnataka Cine Art Directors Association.

Shashidhara Adapa, a genius with many skills is also a skilled puppet maker and has conducted many puppetry workshops at national and international levels. Another aspect of his skill and concerns is that Shashidhara Adapa has produced 6 documentary films on social issues produced by MESCA Bangalore.

His works has been established in Sandalwood, Bollywood and Hollywood. He is one of the genius among us who has dedicated his life for the industry.
