Yet another prog pop masterpiece from David Brewis of Field Music. This time out School of Language has a decidedly 80's funk feel as opposed to Sea to Shores bedroom musings and occasional all out rocking.

One of the most overlooked albums of the year so far. This is from one of the guys from Field Music, and basically this has the same sound and feel of the band. The vocals are very distinctive and are the driving force of th record. The beats are syncopated and create a very quirky atmosphere in conjunction with the sparse and random instrumentation. If you like Field Music, Grizzly Bear or quirky indie rock in general, check this album out.
