If only I could ever go

Posted by Benmo316

I may have to take a two hour road trip and check this place out.

Amazing as always.

Now this is truly something from the world of video games. The UNIVERSE of video games, even!

Seems pretty nifty. =)

That would have probably been a great video.

But on a lighter note these gaming minutes are so great, it reminds me why I have followed JG for so long.

Nutty yo

I live in Schaumburg. I'll check it out, but I can't see it being successful. 40,000 sq/ft is huge. The mall's gamestop is right next to it. I sense cross promotion.

Nice! I'll try to get my family to go when I'm home for spring break.

THE WORLD OF VIDEOGAMESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Edited by lebdath

I have a friend who was hired on to work here about 2-3 weeks ago. He said then, that they were testing out stuff before it officially opened, so if you made a reservation it was free to eat. Do not know if that is still going on.

You can't send Dave Lang there! As soon as someone eats a power pellet he'll run out of the restaurant!

Should Pac Man talk? Maybe after a few drinks....

I was in Chicago just last week. Wish I knew about this.

Half hour from my house, you're damn right I'll be visiting.

This seems very tone deaf, if this were a dirty pizza, laid back place, that'd make more sense, this place might not last too long, the ad video on their site is very overproduced and obnoxious, it seems like that they're not sure who this place is for.

They could potentially do huge launch events for the games they publish, if they're smart.

This is going to be pretty close to me (like 40 minish) , planning on going with my roommate once the initial hubbub dies down

Kinda like the capcom restaurant here in Japan...or my favorite the Gundam Cafe.

This might just be the ultimate Order 1886 slam.

Chicago? Do we know anyone there?

It's funny that the gaming minute covers things that're this goofy.

I wonder if casual members understand that this is from a radio segment.

Posted by FeverChill

I have no excuses, I practically live and work not too far from there, seems like a good date night.

I had bugged Patrick for about a month before he left about this. Now I know why he never answered. @jeff should totally come out to Chicago for it and have a Giant Bomb Midwest event at Level 257

Giantbomb meet-up at the Pac-Man Restaurant!

Posted by Jejoma

Has the Gaming Minute every covered something like this before? I assumed this was just a paid advertisement.

This podcast is way too long, and that Jeff guy hogs the mic the entire time. Sorry guys, but you really missed the mark with this one.
