About Randi

Randi Kreger has brought the concerns of people who have a family member with borderline personality disorder (BPD) and narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) to an international forefront through her best-selling books, informative website, and popular online family support community Welcome to Oz.

Where to Find Online Family Member Support

Having a high conflict family member (often with narcissistic or borderline personality disorder) can make you feel all alone, with no one to talk to who really understands. You may be experiencing anxiety, depression, confusion, and most of all, isolation. And real life support groups are nearly impossible to find.

That's why I (Randi Kreger, author, advocate, and owner of BPDCentral.com) started the Welcome to Oz online family community in 1996. WTO is a sacred place where you'll meet new friends who know just what you're facing because they've been there too. There, you'll experience understanding and comfort and learn tips and techniques that have worked for others. WTO members are wonderfully supportive and can carry you through both good and bad times.

If you would prefer a web-based mesage board, there is also the BPDFamily Message Board. BPDFamily also has an advantage in that it is staffed by a number of volunteers. Formerly hosted on BPDCentral, his site's founders have assembled the articles, message board, and other resources with great care to help families learn about BPD and get back on their feet and feel good about themselves again!

Neither WTO nor BPDFamily are professionally supervised and they do not substitute for professional care.

Welcome To Oz, which I established in 1996, is open to people who have someone with BPD in their life who will live up to the spirit of our Covenant and follow our all-important Guidelines. Because we've grown to more than 20,000 members, we can offer 15 diverse and active groups so you can talk with someone in your own particular situation.

Many discussions on the communities revolve around concepts and tools in Randi Kreger's books The Essential Family Guide to Borderline Personality Disorder, Stop Walking on Eggshells, and The Stop Walking on Eggshells Workbook. When you purchase those books from this site (you help defray the considerable costs of managing Welcome to Oz..You can find them at http://www.bpdcentral.com/store/?ccUser=f89a0fb9571632f325a6ad1be2fa8cec
