** Top Rated & Recommended Marketplace **
Agora is currently the largest drug market on the dark net. BTCfog publicly showed support of Agora when it first launched; since then, this dark net market has proven itself to be ultra-reliable on more than one occasion. Agora Marketplace requires a referral link (Agora Invite) to register both as buyer and as vendor. We have included a working referral (invite) link in Agora's Marketplace URL above. Agora Market offers normal escrow services.

Jokes really on these two scumbags, there a $1 million price tag put on their heads(500k each) by some gang bangers in south-east US. But I honestly am willing to bet that others would pay more.
Whatever imagines people have of them "retiring" with plenty of cheddar for the rest of their life that's bullshit, assuming they can escape the highly profitable manhunt they have currently found themselves in, they will eventually end up arrested and imprisoned, however they may have made a deal with LE already, if they have their wits about them.
No tears shed for scammers.

Venders like RXChemist are allowed to request FE and scam people.
RXChemist does not sell the items he has pictured in his ads.
You either get fake pills or you get the wrong pills. It takes
almost a month and then he will lie to you and get you to leave
5 feedback until you can't change it and then you will never hear
from him again other than to find hes left bad buyer feedback for
you. Avoid this guy like the plague.

I am a real Agora buyer! I have done 5 successful transactions since late December. The people who are claiming this place is a scam are liars. You CAN get scammed by a bad vendor but that is why you do RESEARCH. That is why you ask questions and look at feedback on the website and forums before throwing your bitcoins at anybody on that website. I've met people who send things out slowly and people who make sure things get out to you within 2-3 days from your payment. Agora's cool and all. But Middle Earth's vendor 'thefarmacy' is having an actual sale (20% off any item/any order) We all know theres been a lot of problems lately but its still trucking on, but I've been enjoying Middle Earth a lot more lately as a buyer and vendor. So just wanted to give a head up, Middle Earth is the hidden gem that will soon be the next top marketplace soon enough.
Its also an easier, safer and overall better site layout / shopping experience anyway ;-) PEACE

Recently i tranferred BTCs worth of 240 € to my account. I tried to make an order but the website said my Wallet Pin was wrong. Shortly after all of my BTCs were transferred to another address. All my BTCs got stolen. There is no way somebody else knew about my password or got it through hacking my PC. Im sure the rumors about the admins are true. They are taking the BTC of some Customers. I hope this will prevent some people to get robbed or to be really carefull with this website.

Got scammed by KrypticOG, blatant AF. Have the proof of order, proof that I FE'd, No items sent, No Response, Nothing. Its not a big deal since I was buying E-books but still....Agora staff has done nothing. Blatant scam. KrypticOG is still vending as well...atleast to my knowledge. LOL
Other than the staff being poor, Id recommend doing your research on reputable vendors and stick with them. I have FE'd dozens and dozens of orders and have gotten hooked up fat by vendors that know wth they are doing. Im about ready to just deal with the vendors directly through there TOR emails and bypass all this bullshit darknet market shit.
The darknet markets operate on trust, and if you cannot trust your BTC in the hands of reputable vendors then GTFO. Fuck the escrow system and fuck the Agora staff.
I am not going to whine over ~.1 BTC because Ive had over 10+ BTC funnel through Agora alone, perfectly...Just watch out for the scam/shady vendors. And dont put any money (BTC) onto the Agora site you are not willing to lose. For some reason the infrastructure is a sketchy to me but wtf do I know about darknet markets. NADA.
Do your research BEFORE you place any BTC onto a darknet market. Double time the research when searching for a vendor.
DONT FORGET PGP.

I guess it makes sense for competing marketplaces to dump on Agora publicly. At the very least, the hate raises doubts in the minds of new darknet explorers.
That's the problem I have the most with the senseless negative reviews. Not so much that Agora is rated below 3 here, while it's the only place I've been able to consistently log into and run a shop out of. It's that the haterade is going to spoil the experience for new users. Instead of being dazzled with the wonder of a free market subculture, they'll be saddled with an inordinate amount of paranoia. Of worries about all the "scammers".
You know what's helped me avoid scammers and their sleezy scamming ways? Avoid those who call out so passionately, scammer, at every opportunity. Voila!
On Agora, I've been able to sell my wares, and have had only 2 semi-serious problems in the past 6 months. Both were delays where I couldn't log in and neither resulted in me losing money or anything. Buyers are solid, the escrow system is inferior to multi-sig, but Agora does a great job with it. If the proof is in the pudding, their security is top-notch and their opsec is sufficiently unique and effective.
Agora has never stolen from me or anyone I know/work with. My people are always very happy and the marketplace is never a concern for me or the people I do business with. Fees are reasonable, IMO. Community is good. Could be better at times, but that's probably just me being picky.
The problems are with search, because it sucks. And with some small UI things, like the lack of sub menu filtering when viewing categories. You know like, when you're searching for heroin and you're in the H section, you can't filter the results by, say, white and bth. Or 1 gram and 1 ounce listings.
On top of that, more features would be awesome but not a priority for me or, likely, Agora staff. Darknet sites are usually development dead ends because so much resources are devoted to uptime and staying ahead of the security curve. Since hiring for an underground marketplace is not particularly straightforward, development is often not a matter of cashflow, but of talentflow.
Final note... The biggest problem that I don't see many people discuss is the marketplace turnover rate. The routine has been, so far, that after 2-3 years (please fact check me, someone, if you can) marketplaces either shut down, run off with the money, get hacked, get seized, or something else that stops the wheels from turning. Agora is starting to look like the oldest house on the block and it's that turnover rate that scares me the most. It would be a shame to see such a positive force leave the community.

I received my bitcoin deposits in a matter of 2-3 hours. The biggest problem with Agora is that they obviously need more bandwidth with whatever service they use. It can be down for like an hour then up the next. I'm pretty sure this is due to traffic overload on the website. If they fix that to make it more stable, just find a vendor with great feedback and order. If you worried about downtown, finalize early so your shipment is guaranteed.
People want things to be perfect, that is not how life works. Stop complaining and be thankful that these darknet markets even exist.

So I deposited $4800/ 9.12007BC on 25/11/14, the receipt from the bitcoin seller confirms it was sent, as does the blockchain as found at https://blockchain.info/address/1LjrSf8DZ3s8FB4ixwcVvRJctitrGQq3aJ And yet the coins haven't cleared into my wallet yet! The week previous to this deposit I made an identical deposit which (from my experience on SR1 & 2) arrived in a timely fashion, just a few hours after an identical bank deposit with the same bitcoin vendor. From what I can tell, they've been spinning around in the tumbler for 17 days now and still haven't been credited to my account. After reading reports from many other users on here and Reddit I thought it prudent to wait it out and have faith in the Agora admin to get to my order in due time, but at this point I'm rather angry that while many others (who, lets be honest, have deposited far less amounts than this) have received their coins.
So of course I messaged Agora on the 25th, around 6 hours after I made the deposit, received no response, another message the same day.. another message the day after.. another message two days later.. another message 5 days later.. and finally another message 7 days after that. Not one response!
I suppose my 5 grand is gone? Lost in the tumbler? I admit I'm not the most savvy person when it comes to reading the blockchain and understanding the workings of a hidden service such as Agora, but clearly there is something wrong here.
Can anyone shine some light on what may have happened to my coins? Or why I haven't gotten a response from admin?
Cheers

They are scamming people and keeping just enough of them happy to allow them to stay up. they have terrible uptime (sometimes goes down for a day or so, unannounced). and they work with corrupt vendors (i.e. topshelfbuds) to steal your money and then block your account.

I have to say, I really liked agora at first, but after this last month or 2, they have really gone downhill and I would not be surprised if they are next in line to get shut down, or are ready to take everyone's btcs and run. I lost money on and F/E, simply because no vendor on there will do any transactions with out it now because of the "oh we are afraid we will lose money if we get shut down". And Agora did absolutely nothing to help out, otherwise I would have not have written this, so I'm out. Beware of this place, it is a freaking rip off, and that's too bad, get out while you can, looks like a lot of the good vendors are jumping ship also.

Had an order refunded to me. 2 Hours Later the money was withdrawn and not by me. I suspect is was administration. Before everyone jumps on the bandwagon and starts calling me an idiot or kindergartner, this was not anyway my fault.
I did not sign in from another computer I did not Let anyone else use my computer I did not give out my password I signed in from a anonymous ip and secure server as always I did absolutely nothing different I did absolutely nothing different than anyone else who thinks they are perfect and uses agora.
The reason I suspect it was Administration is because whoever stole my money:
Knew it was refunded immediately Somehow knew my password and withdraw code
There is no way anyone cracked my very long and intricate password.
My password never changed, even after the money was stolen.
Beware......

I usually log in with no problems but this time I have tried about 20 times in a row and still can't get in
The capcha is right
They have either locked my account or reset my password to something else and I don't know it
This is obviously really dodgy now
It's either the admin have turned evil or it's been hacked
Can anyone else log in today? (Friday 5th Dec 2014)

Wrote one review as Christoph and got my "IP" locked due to spam. (sigh)
Response to below:

Go back to kindergarden. If you aren't too blinded by your own ego, hell let me know and I'll give you some pointers.
Wow.

I was sat there clicking refresh and I saw my money go in about 1 hour later... I put some more in... And was clicking refresh... And low and behold... It disappeared - 0.000000
FFS
It may be an automated system nicking it or someone or people sat there talking it on an ad hoc basis
Looks really dodgy now tho...
Not sure if I'll ever trust it again now...
The minimum amount you can withdraw is 0.001 and I have 0.0006 in there now - if it was fukt it's would disappear to zero but if someone was taking it, it would stay there as they can't withdraw less than 0.001 - I'll keep u posted...
-
You are depositing amounts that are too small and losing the network fees - hence the disappearing money.

Some people are still not getting deposits after 10 days. Idiots below like Christoph don't understand that we can see the money in our wallet and don't understand how DM's work.
DO NOT DEPOSIT UNTIL IT IS FIXED, CHECK FORUMS FOR YOURSELF AND DON'T LISTEN TO IDIOTS LIKE CHRSTOPH.....

If your having issues get this app from iOS on your iPad ir iPhone - called:
Onion Browser
It's really good
It should work
If not try uninstalling and reinstalling the latest TOR browser on your computer
.onion is OK at the moment

It's seems, if 0.04 (approx a tenner) is depostited it won't show up on your ur wallet but if 0.001 is deposited it shows up in approx 20 mins. It the. Took 3.5 hours to withdraw
It may be because:
1) the problems are intermittent 2) if a large enough amount of deposited it won't show up as they are deliberately thieving set quantities 3) you may get the money back in time - they should put an update banner back up - as that almost restores faith in them 4) you won't get your money back as its a scam in itself
I'll keep you updated

The reason why some say it's totally fukt and some say it's totally ok is because it's up and down a lot
When I tested it with 0.001 it was running quick (ok)
When I put a tenner in it was running slow (fukt)
I will continue to update on progress
I tested it with 24p so you don't have to - one person testing it for the good of others in relation to all the many many others users of the site isn't going to make much difference into the already shafted performance of the site - and I'm sharing my findings as and when they come in for all to read and learn from to help us all
The original tenner that I put in a few days ago hasnt appeared. But 24p (0.001) appeared and I was able to withdraw it in good time
The second tenner, like I say, has not yet appeeared after several hours (see post below)

I deposited $100 last night and got it in 15 mins. Look, the admins are struggling under the weight of the huge influx of traffic after the fall of SR2. Before you log on... CHECK the URL. Hell, copy and paste it from the URL above on this page. I think some of you logged onto a fake site after copying a fake link. If you did, YES your money is gone and its your own fault. Measure twice, cut once fucktards.

All these people doing tests of 0-001 BTC and the likes, please fucking stop clogging up the system. Some of us have been waiting a week for serious cash.
1 Week later and still nothing deposited so just because your 50p got through does not mean it is fixed. DO NO DEPOSIT BECAUSE ITS FUCKED

It all works - the 0.001 was withdrawn in good time
Hopefully I'll get my tenner back soon
Agora admin - if you reading - please put my 0.04 in my wallet
All looks good to go
I've requested a new deposit of £10 so I'll let you all know how it goes...

Hi
Good news
The 0.001 I put in has shown up on my wallet
The 0.04 (ten quid-ish) hasn't yet
Looks like genuine tech issues
Let's hope I get my tenner

As with everyone else, I recently had to revoke my trust of our beloved Agora. But I am glad to inform everyone that it gets better. Middle Earth is a lovely site, crafted to the finest extent. There are many vendors from Agora moving onto ME and prices remain mostly the same; Although hopefully once more people flock to ME and its rep builds up competition will lower the prices.
Just wanted to let buyers know to not be discourage when one fails because plenty will follow ;-)

I'm starting the agree with that guy
Looks like a 90% certainty that your money will never return in any form
It's nearly 24 hours since we were all meant to be saved and they haven't changed the banner
It's all getting far too dodgy
DO NOT DEPOSIT
Maybe just hit the streets/clubs like the old days instead...
They are fukin it up for themselves
One day no one will ever trust the darknet
Or they could claw it all back and be good like SR and SR2
It's in their hands now
Let's hope they see sence and stop scamming - completely... Or lose it doesn't forever...

2 hours and no BTC in my wallet after deposit, I bet they scam now all the people like all the other sites did, and pretend its not their fault and they work on it, but as I said I think its Agora who is scammin here, thats why they say they are working on it, and tell the people to be calm. Remember those words. I will update this, but I don´t think the BTC´s will get in my wallet. After a long time I am out of this Dark web shit, Fuck dark web, fuck all you fuckin scammer twats, fuck my money, fuck the government. DO NOT DEPOSIT. Thank you

Since Sunday nothing in my account. I got 233 confirmations and counting. God I hope they sort it out soon. Even my Vendor 4.99/5.00 rating who has many updates daily has no feedback updates for 2-3 days. Might ruin my weekend... not a big amount either, like 0.3BTC
