Project Rebirth
The Intercultural and Interreligious Aspects of 9/11 is a set of three lesson plans developed by the Berkley Center for Religion, Peace, & World Affairs at Georgetown University and Project Rebirth, the non-profit outgrowth of the award-winning documentary film Rebirth, which chronicles the lives and psychological recovery of 9/11 survivors. The Berkley Center and Project Rebirth have also made a significant compilation of online resources available to accompany the lesson plans and heighten the educational experience of students. The material in these lesson plans has been reviewed by leading university professors in the fields of history, theology, psychology, interfaith relations, and more. This project is designed to meet state education standards in Social Studies.
