Hope smiles from the threshold of the year to come, whispering, ‘It will be happier.’

Happy New Year!
And what happier way than to start the new year with [South] Korean superstars?
Here is a list of appearances some of our favorite Korean superstars will be making on our homeland that you can look forward to.
1. Sungha Jung (2nd – 4th Jan)
From 2nd to 4th January, Youtube-famous Korean guitarist will be having a series of concert in Kota Kinabalu, Kuching and Kuala Lumpur.
He rose to fame through his acoustic covers and arrangements of popular songs which he uploads onto his Youtube channel. After gaining recognition, he released his first album in 2010. His latest album, Monologue, which was released in April 2014 comprised mostly of his own compositions.

2. B1A4 (10th Jan)
B1A4 will be having a special fan meeting in Kuala Lumpur on the 10th of January in KL Live. The boys are no strangers to our land as they have been here twice before. This time around, fans (also known as BANAs) will be able to get a closer look at the boys—this event is held specially for fans.
This group that was named after their members’ blood groups made their debut with the single “O.K” and released their debut EP, “Let’s Fly” in April 2011. Their latest single, “Solo Day”, was released in July 2015 as the title song of their fifth mini album.

3. Lee Min Ho (10th Jan)
Innisfree which recently opened its first shop in Malaysia will be holding an event where winners of an ongoing competition will get to meet with its ambassador, Lee Min Ho. I’m sure most of us are no strangers to this hunk of a man—he is the star of hit Korean dramas such as Boys Over Flowers and The Heirs.
