An enduring aspect of the self-concept of Jews is that their ascent to elite status in America and elsewhere is the natural result of a meritocracy. For example, after Elena Kagan was nominated for the Supreme Court, Robert Frank penned an article in the Wall Street Journal (“That Bright, Dying Star, the American WASP”) hailing the rise of a meritocracy where Jews could finally assume their rightful place as an elite, and cheering the demise of those lazy, corrupt WASPs who did everything they could to thwart the rise of the Jews, including placing limits on Jewish enrollment in the elite universities. The fact that Kagan is remarkably unqualified to be a Supreme Court Justice in terms of the usual standards (judicial experience, academic publications, or even courtroom experience) never seems to have entered his mind. In Frank’s view, her ascent from Princeton undergraduate to Harvard Law, to high-level government positions and dean of Harvard Law is the American meritocracy in action—a view that conveniently ignores the role of her Jewish ethnic connections (see also here) in greasing her ascent, most egregiously her appointment as dean of Harvard Law by Larry Summers.
Ron Unz has published a very important article showing that Kagan’s remarkable rise is a symptom of a far wider issue—that Jewish admission to elite universities is far from meritocratic (“The myth of American meritocracy: How corrupt are Ivy League admissions?”). (On the basis of Unz’s article, it would be interesting to look at Kagan’s SAT and LSAT scores!) Because of their role in replenishing elites, university admissions is a huge lever of power. The implication of Unz’s article (although he would probably shy away from this wording) is that a Jewish elite now controls this lever of power and has used it to its advantage, resulting in a massive overrepresentation of Jews in elite universities compared to their academic qualifications or intelligence, while discriminating against non-Jewish Whites and against Asians.
There are several important messages for White advocates. The first is that Asian immigration is now a major contributing factor in the displacement of White elites. For example, in California Asians represent about 11 percent of the student-age population, Whites around 33%. A last-name analysis indicated that Asians constituted almost 60 percent of the National Merit Scholarship semifinalists in the state. Unz argues persuasively that Caltech and the highest ranking campuses of the University of California have been meritocratic, but that has meant an Asian enrollment of around 40%. The data for Caltech show Asian admissions increasing along with the increase in Asian population. This indicates that the present 40% figure will continue to grow unless limits are placed on Asian immigration or enrollment in state universities.
Secondly, there are strong indications that Jews are maintaining and even increasing their overrepresentation in elite universities at a level that is far above levels warranted by their academic performance. The overrepresentation of Jews in elite academic institutions has long been apparent, even correcting for Jewish IQ:
On the basis of Richard Lynn’s estimates of Ashkenazi Jewish IQ [110.7] and correcting for the greater numbers of European Whites, the ratio of non-Jewish Whites to Jews should be around 7 to 1 (IQ >130) or 4.5 to 1 (IQ > 145). Instead, the ratio of non-Jewish Whites to Jews is around 1 to 1 or less. (See here.) … The brouhaha that engulfed the Princeton campus because Jews were “only” overrepresented by around 6.5 times their percentage of the population suggests that there is considerable pressure for high levels of Jewish admission. The Daily Princetonian ran four front-page articles on the topic, and the New York Times ran an article titled “The Princeton Puzzle.” (See here; the original NYTimes article is here.) Clearly anything less than 20% Jewish enrollment would be met with raised eyebrows and perhaps intimations of anti-Semitism. The big picture is that this is a prime example of the corruption of our new elite. (see “Jewish overrepresentation at elite universities explained”)
For me, the most surprising aspect of Unz’s analysis was his finding of Jewish intellectual decline, as measured by performance on a wide range of competitions, from NSM semifinalists (which emphasize verbal achievement, a traditional Jewish strength), to math and science prizes. In explaining these findings, Unz points to increasing Jewish complacency and lack of effort, supporting his argument by noting that some recent Jewish standouts have been more likely to be immigrants from the former Soviet Union and therefore more likely to be highly motivated. One gets the image of third- and fourth-generation Jews, born to wealth and a sense of entitlement, seeing no need to work hard to ascend to elite status—and being quite correct in that assessment. Further, he notes that an increasing percentage of Jews come from the Orthodox, a group with relatively low IQ.
On the basis of academic achievement, Unz estimates that Jews should be around 6% of top students, far lower than the ~25% found at elite universities, terming this gap “totally absurd and ridiculous.” “Over the last decade or two, meritocracy and Jewish numbers have become opposing forces: the stricter the meritocratic standard, the fewer the Jews admitted.”
Unz argues persuasively that the elite Ivy League universities are discriminating against Asians, a group that has consistently outperformed Jews as National Merit Semifinalists (NSM) by a factor of 2 yet their percentage has remained at around 17% of Harvard undergrads since the early 1990s. Unz notes that, “assuming an admissions system based on strictest objective meritocracy, we would expect our elite academic institutions to contain nearly five Asians for every Jew; but instead, the Jews are far more numerous, in some important cases by almost a factor of two. This raises obvious suspicions about the fairness of the Ivy League admissions process.”
But the numbers for Jewish overrepresentation compared to Whites are even more striking. Corresponding to the collapse of Jewish academic achievement has been an increase in the percentage of high-performing Whites in math and science competitions. And whereas the performance of Jews has declined dramatically, the performance for Whites has stayed approximately the same—an amazing and very heartening finding considering the corrosive effect of the MTV culture and a public school system whose main function would seem to be spewing multicultural propaganda and White guilt rather than academic rigor. “Based on the overall distribution of America’s population, it appears that approximately 65–70 percent of America’s highest ability students are non-Jewish whites, well over ten times the Jewish total of under 6 percent.”
Unz’s table on p. 31 (see below) shows that Whites are underrepresented compared to their population at all elite universities. Whites are therefore highly discriminated against: “Based on reported statistics, Jews approximately match or even outnumber non-Jewish whites at Harvard and most of the other Ivy League schools, which seems wildly disproportionate. Indeed, the official statistics indicate that non-Jewish whites at Harvard are America’s most under-represented population group, enrolled at a much lower fraction of their national population [18%] than blacks or Hispanics, despite having far higher academic test scores.”
Indeed, the following analysis implies that, compared to Jews, non-Jewish Whites are represented at 1/15th of the level they would be in a meritocratic system:
If we separate out the Jewish students, their ratio [of enrollment percentage to NSM semifinalist percentage] turns out to be 435 percent [in other words, there are well over 4 times as many Jews as a meritocratic system would predict], while the residual ratio for non-Jewish whites drops to just 28 percent [a bit over 1/4th what a meritocratic system would predict and] less than half of even the Asian figure. As a consequence, Asians appear under-represented relative to Jews by a factor of seven, while non-Jewish whites are by far the most under-represented group of all, despite any benefits they might receive from athletic, legacy, or geographical distribution factors.
These trends have been increasing in recent years.
Between 2000 and 2011, the relative percentage of college-age blacks enrolled at Harvard dropped by 18 percent, along with declines of 13 percent for Asians and 11 percent for Hispanics, while only whites increased, expanding their relative enrollment by 16 percent. However, this is merely an optical illusion: in fact, the figure for non-Jewish whites slightly declined, while the relative enrollment of Jews increased by over 35 percent, probably reaching the highest level in Harvard’s entire history. Thus, the relative presence of Jews rose sharply while that of all other groups declined, and this occurred during exactly the period when the once-remarkable academic performance of Jewish high school students seemed to suddenly collapse.
As Jewish enrollment has soared, Harvard and other elite universities are choosing less and less on academic ability, as indicated by lower percentages of National Merit Scholarship semi-finalists. And Jewish students who are admitted to Harvard are much less likely than their non-Jewish White counterparts to be admitted to Phi Beta Kappa, indicating that they don’t do particularly well once admitted.
Not only did these trends occur after the collapse of Jewish academic achievement, they occurred after Unz’s original Wall Street Journal op-ed of 1998 (“Some minorities are more minor than others”) which called attention to the overrepresentation of Jews and the underrepresentation of non-Jewish Whites in the Ivy League. “Since then Jewish academic achievement has seemingly collapsed but relative Jewish enrollment in the Ivies has generally risen, while the exact opposite combination has occurred for both Asians and non- Jewish whites. I find this a strange and unexpected development.”
I find it appalling. And it suggests that the patterns of massive Jewish overrepresentation and massive non-Jewish White underrepresentation will continue into the future because publicity makes no difference. The fact that these imbalances can be maintained despite public knowledge is an important marker of Jewish power.
Unz suggests that an important reason for the dramatic Jewish overrepresentation is the large number of Jews in faculty and administrative positions at elite universities. He points to the “massive overrepresentation is found throughout the … top administrative ranks of the rest of the Ivy League, and across American leading educational institutions in general.” He also points to the “overwhelmingly liberal orientation of the elite university community, the apparent willingness of many liberals to actively discriminate against non-liberals, and the fact that American Jews remain perhaps the most liberal ethnic community may together help explain a significant portion of our skewed enrollment statistics.”
Indeed. These are the themes of a paper of mine (“Why are professors liberals?”) arguing that the liberal orientation of the American professoriate is a top-down phenomenon stemming from the very large overrepresentation of Jews at the highest levels of academia with values that reflect the values of the mainstream Jewish community but are quite at odds with the values of the great majority of non-Jewish White Americans. I argue that just as Jewish ethnic networking is critical to the massive overrepresentation of Jews admitted to elite universities, Jewish ethnic networking has been critical to Jewish success in scaling the heights of the professoriate. Indeed, a major theme of The Culture of Critiqueis that the academic culture of the left (e.g., the Frankfurt School, Boasian anthropology and the anti-Darwinian thrust of the social sciences) has nothing whatever to do with scientific or intellectual rigor, but is the result of Jewish ethnic networking.
And yes, liberals in the academic world are quite willing to admit that they would discriminate against non-liberals (see Inbar, Y., & Lammers, J. [2012]. Political diversity in social and personality psychology. Perspectives in Psychological Science, [Sept. 2012].
The underrepresentation of non-Jewish Whites at elite universities is yet another indication that the displacement of non-Jewish White elites is moving ahead rapidly and that it’s completely beyond public discussion. Unz notes that Jewish activist organizations and Jews in the media led the charge against quotas on Jewish enrollment. Indeed, he is remarkably candid about Jewish media influence, saying just the sorts of things that get people like me on the wrong side of the ADL:
[Jerome] Karabel convincingly demonstrates that the collapse of the long-standing Jewish quotas in the Ivy League during the decade following World War II occurred as a result of massive media and political pressure, pressure surely facilitated by very heavy Jewish ownership of America’s major media organs, including all three television networks, eight of nine major Hollywood studios, and many of the leading newspapers, including both the New York Times and the Washington Post.
But there are no analogous organizations advance the interests of non-Jewish Whites (or Asians, for that matter) in fairness in academic admissions (and much else).
It’s therefore not surprising that Unz’s article is not getting the sort of media buzz that, say, an article on the victimization of groups loved by the left (non-Whites, immigrants, gays, etc.) would receive. As Unz notes, “any significant reduction in Jewish enrollment may often be denounced as [anti-Semitism] by the hair-trigger media”—the same media that yawns at the gaping underrepresentation of non-Jewish Whites.
As someone who has written extensively about Jewish power and ethnic networking without success in getting it discussed in the mainstream media or academic world, I can’t say I am surprised at the virtual blackout of Unz’s article. I subscribe to the Jewish Telegraph Agency’s email newsletter which keeps obsessive track of all things Jewish. But no mention at all of Unz’s article. So why should Harvard change its ways when there is no pressure for doing so? Asian activist groups will doubtless take heart from his findings and perhaps pursue them publicly. But they will be able to do so without having to raise any Jewish issues, making the very respectable claim that Harvard et al. are too White. In a recent blog, Unz notes that an Asian-American professor has publicized Unz’s findings, but predictably, the professor cares only about the Asians and not the non-Jewish Whites. The complete lack of powerful groups seeking to advance the interests of non-Jewish White Americans has never been more glaring.
Perhaps an enterprising non-Jewish White person could use Unz’s article as the basis for a law suit, but doing so would perforce open the can of worms that respectable America still abhors—dealing in an honest way with Jewish issues. For one thing, it would require an argument that it makes sense to formally distinguish Jews and non-Jewish Whites as separate groups, contrary to present practice where there is no Jewish category in the official university statistics. An argument that Jews should not be considered Whites could be made, highlighting the following points:
- Population genetic data indicate that Jews are a Middle Eastern group and that there is substantial genetic distance between Europeans and Jews.
- Jews typically do not identify with the people and culture of Christian Europe and its offshoots; traditional Jewish attitudes conceptualize Judaism as separate from White, Christian society; partly because of their lack of identification with non-White Christian culture, Jewish groups have led the campaign to remove Christianity from the public square;
- there is a long history of very mainstream Jewish activism and identity that sees Christian Europe as an evil outgroup responsible for a long history of persecuting Jews; an important aspect of Jewish self-conception in America—apparent in much of the material reviewed by Unz, such as Jerome Karabel’s work—is that Jews were subjected to quotas at Ivy League universities until after World War II;
- Jews are a relatively powerful group that has often been in competition with non-Jewish Europeans; Ivy League enrollments may be seen as one aspect of that competition;
- Jewish ethnic activism typically excludes non-Jewish Whites and favors Jews, as in the appointment of Elena Kagan and the Jewish campaign to increase Jewish enrollment in Ivy League universities mentioned above;
- As a result, the distinction between Jew and non-Jewish White is of considerable real world importance.
But such an argument would be strenuously resisted by the powers that be.
The pattern of admission to Ivy League universities is an egregious example of Jews achieving elite status far in excess of Jewish IQ or any other personal trait. This phenomenon has occurred in other times and places, such as the conflict over Jewish cultural domination in the Soviet Union:
Beginning at least by 1942, there was concern within high governmental circles with the underrepresentation of ethnic Russians and the overrepresentation of Jews in key areas of the cultural and economic elite [because they needed ethnic Russians to fight the war against Germany]. The report noted that elite cultural institutions “turned out to be filled by non-Russian people (mainly by Jews)” (in Kostyrchenko 1995, 15). For example, of the ten top executives of the Bolshoi Theater—the most prestigious Soviet cultural institution—there were eight Jews and one Russian. Similar disproportions were reported in prestigious musical conservatories and among art and music reviewers in elite publications. Higher Jewish IQ seems inadequate to account for these disproportions, suggesting within-group collusion as a factor. (SAID, Chapter 2, pp. 51)
These findings are quite compatible with the findings of Yuri Slezkine (The Jewish Century) on Jewish intellectual and cultural domination of the USSR, diminishing (but still strong) only after WWII.
Jews seek to be included in the White category whenever it benefits them. The same groups that are horrified at “White domination” would never complain about Jewish domination. Every year at Oscar time, the LATimes bemoans the fact that “White males” dominate Hollywood, but they never point out that all those White males are Jewish. And they never seem too bothered by the fact that nothing changes. Jews have dominated Hollywood for nearly a century, with no end in sight despite common knowledge of the situation. I rather doubt it will be different in the case of university admissions.
Finally, Unz makes the important point that although the WASPs did indeed attempt to hang onto their elite status by limiting Jewish enrollment, they had far more legitimacy than the present Jewish ascendancy:
Many of the Jewish writers who focus on the history of elite university admissions … rebuked the America of the first half of the Twentieth Century for having been governed by a narrow WASP ascendency, which overwhelmingly dominated and controlled the commanding heights of business, finance, education, and politics; and some of their criticisms are not unreasonable. But we should bear in mind that this dominant group of White Anglo-Saxon Protestants—largely descended from among the earliest American settlers and which had gradually absorbed and assimilated substantial elements of Celtic, Dutch, German, and French background— was generally aligned in culture, religion, ideology, and ancestry with perhaps 60 percent of America’s total population at the time, and therefore hardly represented an alien presence. By contrast, a similarly overwhelming domination by a tiny segment of America’s current population, one which is completely misaligned in all these respects, seems far less inherently stable, especially when the institutional roots of such domination have continually increased despite the collapse of the supposedly meritocratic justification. This does not seem like a recipe for a healthy and successful society, nor one which will even long survive in anything like its current form. Power corrupts and an extreme concentration of power even more so, especially when that concentration of power is endlessly praised and glorified by the major media and the prominent intellectuals which together constitute such an important element of that power.
Exactly right. Indeed, the WASPs were racially aligned with around 90% of the American population. And I would go further and note that the new Jewish elite is not only unrepresentative of the traditional people of America, it has shown over and over again that it is a hostile elite—hostile to the traditional people and culture of America. (Similarly, Slezkine shows that Jewish intellectual and cultural domination in the USSR and throughout Eastern Europe was directed against the traditional national cultures of those societies.) In addition to the bulleted list above (e.g., Jewish leadership in removing Christianity from the public square), Jews were the main force behind the 1965 immigration law which is rapidly making non-Jewish Whites into a minority. This is the ultimate indication of the Jewish lack of identification with the traditional people and culture of America. As Whites continue to lose political power and are displaced from their elite status, their fate will increasingly be in the hands of peoples, such as Jews, who have shown repeatedly that they are hostile to the interests of Whites — first and foremost the interests of Whites in maintaining political and cultural power.
The bottom line, therefore, is that the new Jewish elite is illegitimate. Not only is it not representative of the traditional people and culture of the people who built America, it has achieved elite status in great measure not as a result of merit but because of ethnic networking (e.g., Hollywood and the media, academia); and now Unz has shown conclusively that its vast overrepresentation in elite universities is being maintained largely through Jewish ethnic networking.
In my 1998 book, The Culture of Critique, I predicted the rise of a Jewish cultural and media elite and an Asian technocratic elite. As Unz shows, the rise of Asians in technical areas is well underway and will continue to grow in the future along with the Asian population.
And I agree with Unz that the situation is indeed unstable. The last several elections have shown that American politics has become increasingly racialized, with Whites of all social classes, age categories, and both sexes tending to vote Republican. This despite the fact that Romney was hardly likely to come to the rescue of White America, and despite the fact that many of his policies were against the economic interests of many of the Whites who voted for him. Any student of history is aware of the enormous forces that ethnic conflict has unleashed in the past; and ethnic conflict continues in many parts of the contemporary world. When White Americans of the future—quite possibly the very near future—discover the world they have lost and the reasons they lost that world, the results may well be cataclysmic.
Ron Unz has made a major contribution with this article. Let’s hope it has the effect of waking up some of the many millions of slumbering, fearful Whites who are presently just standing by and watching their displacement.

It’s odd that a race with unique physical and intellectual attributes wouldn’t develop a fierce ethnocentrism to defend those attributes. How does one explain the pathological altruism of the Northern Europeans apart from centuries of dysgenic breeding as a result of bad philosophy? In this instance, dysgenic breeding basically means breeding aggression out of the Nordic peoples.

My answer is that I suspect a human evolution explanation. Before the speciation event that took us into the modern era of humanity (eventually civilization), there was probably a lot of other speciation events getting close to or crossing that line…..but that were quickly subsumed back into the larger non-human population (because speciations happen to small populations and if they are surrounded by larger and the speciation is largely in the brain, then the smaller population probably interbreeds and gets lost.
To a great extent that cauldron of speciation and subsumation pushed the ‘niche landscape walk’ onto a higher level of abstraction and allowed evolution to actually start seeking a solution to that problem of being assimilated back into the mass (the problem was probably uniquely new in the history of life since it was occuring at conceptual not physical levels given it was mostly occuring in the brain).
…and…eventually that solution came in the form of a speciation event that created physical and mental characteristics that were very recessive. As in, did not survive interbreeding with the larger surrounding population. Evolution had solved the problem by turning things on their head. It was fine to interbreed, but the speciated population was protected because your progeny would look and be more like the other half of the intermarriage.
Hence white skin, blue/green/gray eyes, light hair, plus a whole load of other HIGHLY RECESSIVE mental and physical characteristics.
I suppose the good news out of that is, yes we have been brought within sight of our own extinction. But also yes…at the racial level we have major fighting chance simply beause in fact we originally evolved to survive massive assimilation pressure…..that was actually a key problem evolution had to solve.

Why not do private ownership by contract as well then? You can persuade whoever you do business with you that own your watch, car and house. Also as a condition of visiting your house. But there’s no contract betwen you and I, so maybe I will just wait till you leave and go take ownership.
This is what you are asking people that own intellectual property to do.
The reason I think a lot of ‘libertarians’ do this about intellectual property, is basically because the one time all their principles about morality and lawfulness gets challenged is when it comes to illegal downloads…and on that test they end up going with the downloads and then concoct a load of rationalizations because they donm’t want to feel like hypocrites.
This is very human so no problem, but don’t it make yer laugh

The Marxist labour theory of value is what copyright rests on. I sweated over an intellectual work, therefore I have a right to a monopoly franchise thereon. Problem is that the framework for enforcing that right is paid for from others’ pockets, whether they enjoy the work or not. Rearden Metal has every right to bind its employees mouths with secrecy provisions in their employment contracts, and stipulate terms to its customers. Trade secrets are perfectly legitimate, and do not encroach on the freedoms of the general public (costs are borne by the interested parties alone). If you read Boldrin and Levine (http://is.gd/HNMVK0) you will see how many cutting-edge industries relied purely on this mechanism. Off the top of my head, the Swiss dyeing and food industries flourished because reverse engineering was difficult or impossible. Swiss horologists couldn’t prevent their product being disassembled and analyzed but could guard carefully the tools used to produce the watches and frustrate copiers.
Now, I’m not suggesting that authors or film-makers can’t make money, just that they do so with consent. Contract law is perfectly appropriate for this. Parties not bound by contract have no obligation to each other.
Randians protest that without the carrot of an enforceable franchise, no incentive to create exists, but this is begging the question. The creative work is shaped by the legislative framework. The Spielberg blockbuster is that much easier to finance because profits can be reaped far into the future. Were the framework merely a contractual one binding creator and consumer, copying by parties not bound by contract would make large projects much riskier than small ones. The whole playing field would change. Assuming the demand for entertainment were unchanged, then the gap left by the blockbuster dinosaur would allow many more micro-productions to be born. The latter are more attractive because the number of works needed to sell to reach break-even is relatively fewer. The enormous concentration of ownership would give way to a much more open field of smaller players.
Paul Cantor has some good LvMI podcasts on the ways authors (Shakespeare, Dickens etc.) used to extract profits from their toils prior to IP protection.
Reductio ab absurdem shows the flaws in Rand’s reasoning. If ideas are indeed property, why shouldn’t they be protected forever? My wristwatch can be can handed down to future generations for eons, and no one can protest the legitimacy of this transfer. Imagine if every new idea attracted royalties in perpetuum? It’s perfectly logical and perfectly diabolical.

Yes, Rand was terribly niggardly in acknowledging any other intellectual sources other than Aristotle and she was simply lying here. She was greatly indebted intellectually to Isabel Paterson, author of The God Of The Machine, as just a very personal intellectual influence, and she borrowed her ideas from a host of others including her critique of Kant.
The hardcore Randroids like the Ayn Rand Institute and people like James Valliant are just willfully stupid in this regard.
Rand also changed her mind on free will, foreign policy, eminent domain and gun control. 1& 3 for the better, 2 & 4

Trenchant, there is considerable pain from ECT as I know just from talking to victims of it beside reading the vast literature on it. Sometimes people are sedated, sometimes not. But if the sedation were that powerful there would be no rationale to give ECT. In any case both the psychiatric drugs and the ECT are brain disabling as numerous studies have shown.
It’s simply a method of control. Psychiatry is inextricably tied to coercion.
If schizophrenia has no pathology then by definition it can’t be a disease. Undoubtedly there are people who act irrationally, we can see that all the time, but it’s not a medical issue and it can’t be treated that way.
In fact it isn’t. Psychiatry is simply control of society’s unwanted. Or those who make relatives feel uncomfortable.
On a basic level it’s just base rhetoric. Some of the Non-Jews involved in it like Jung were opposed to the coercive practices
of psychiatry and believed it just talking therapy. The Jews involved like Freud believed in both.

Szasz wrote a book entitled Our Right To Drugs totally blasting the premises of the century old US war on drugs which started in 1913. He wasn’t advocating the taking of any drug but just our right to medicate ourselves if we so please, whether for better or worse.
Of course psychiatry pushes forced drugging which would seem to be contradictory to a government war on drugs except it isn’t.

Now as to the rest of your points, I’m pretty well in agreement. I don’t class schizophrenia as a pathology, but I do believe the symptoms are real.
Everything else you say seems sound (risk of self-harm is judged against the patient’s own answers to a standardized questionnaire, which is a laugh). When in doubt, sedate! When sedation doesn’t work, increase the dosage. I don’t know what Hippocrates would have to say about that, but probably nothing good.
I’m not for using dope, nor for its criminalization, but I’m on board with it exacerbating or triggering latent schizophrenia. (The Fear! Except that it doesn’t wear off). Dope’s much stronger now than in the Reefer Madness days).

Trenchant, actually ECT is used as a first, in between and last resort. It has no medical or therapeutic value.
It only ‘works’ in one sense, it controls the victims who are mislabeled ‘patients.’ Outside of the fact that people have a right to commit suicide since they do own their own bodies, their own selves, ECT like the brain disabling psychiatric drugs is a weapon of control. And it’s not either/or.
Both are used simultaneously because people have different reactions to drugs. I know this personally from diagnosed mental patients. The Bay Area is a huge true believer in psychiatry. The joke in Berkeley is that half the people there are patients and the other half are therapists.
I maintain two things here, that there is no disease and thus no medicine is being practiced here, and that psychiatrists acting as agents of relatives or the state have no right to coerce people who have not committed any real crime such as initiating force against another person.
No one can tell whether another lacks self-awareness, there’s no imagery or epistemology to reveal that I think it’s impossible for a sentient human being to lack self-awareness. These people have to be role playing even if at a very deep level.
ECT is the least benign psychiatric tool, it is torture pure and simple. it’s evil is only exceeded by prefrontal lobotomies, which are much rarer now but when it was invented in the 30s, the Portugese shrink who invented it won the Nobel Prize
for it in 1949 ! You might benefit from reading the John Modrow book because as a diagnosed schizophrenic he presents a very interesting viewpoint.
Psychiatry has had this strange obsession with electricity cures goiing to its beginnings in 1700. Szasz goes into this in
The Myth Of Psychotherapy.

I don’t where DK got the absurd idea that I think the brain is not affected by physical substances. Too much coffee can affect the brain. If it should someday be proven that all the things we mislabel mental illnesses are actually real organic physical illnesses then psychiatry would be abolished and replaced by neurology. As happened with syphilis and several other diseases that were once considered psychiatric.
If this happened involuntary commitment, electroshock, prefrontals and all the current psychiatric drugs would be abolished and people with real diseases would be voluntarily treated by real doctors. Although psychiatrists are MDs they do not practice medicine. They practice control and coercion,
they practice dope peddling, they practice torture via ECT and where still legal, prefrontals.
There is also another psychiatric racket that is rampant here in California as you know, Bobby. That is certifying people for disability. Quite a few ex-cops including the CHP have caught on to this racket but if they catch you lying about a physical disability you can go to Durance Vile.
But who could disprove a mental disability ? It’s like trying to disprove a negative, a point I was trying unsuccessfully to convey to DK. Disproving clinically something that doesn’t exist appears to me a logical impossibly in Aristotelian classical terms but maybe I’m naive and missing something here. I don’t think so to be immodest.

I know this because I worked in the industry for a few years as a Pharmacy tech and saw it first hand with some of our customers. But again, that’s not my argument, which is about the abuse of psychotropic drugs for profit, as Marcy so rightly points out.
@D. K.: I realize that some brains are diseased. The disease shows up on brain imaging and therefore has a physiological basis, yes. I can agree with that completely. The question with so many of these so-called psychological syndromes, is whether or not they should be classified as abnormal behavior. Isn’t it interesting, that the increase of so many of these syndromes, virtually parallels the explosion in knowledge of how to create new pharmaceutial compounds. Ask a pharmacist who knows the history of the industry, when it was that pharmacy became a super profitable field for people to enter. You’ll find it began approximately in the mid 1980’s. Before that time it was a so so field in job prospects and was rapidly filling up. Now pharmacy schools are graduating people like crazy and the profits of the industry are, I think, second only to oil. The creation of psychotropic drugs is one big reason. To imagine that the pharmaceutical industry doesn’t do things that are unethical, in order to make big profits, just like the rest of big business, is being naive.

Since others have mentioned schizophrenia…
I feel compelled to share a story about a guy who claims to have schizophrenia. He said that he had to visit several doctors before he finally got the diagnosis he wanted. He’s in his late 20’s and he takes taxpayers’ money because he claims that he is unable to work.
But on his blog he has admitted that he just doesn’t want to work, and that the world needs artists and poets. (He writes poetry…) And apparently he is able to attend rock concerts.
What’s truly sickening is that he lives in a studio apartment in a relatively upscale suburb because he doesn’t want to live at home with his parents — he says they aren’t evolved enough.
And somehow he has enough money to order Netflix DVD’s in the mail.
He is one of the reasons why I am… so skeptical about these issues. And I know there are others similar to him. It’s bad enough that they steal taxpayer money, but on top of that they seem to have contempt for the people they steal from.
It would be very different if his family or a church provided him with money and shelter etc. But there’s something so egregious about the fact that taxpayers are forced to support people like him.
This might be my most useless comment so far.

I was thinking… if there is indeed a kind of collective mind or collective consciousness (or whatever the right term is) then maybe understanding it will lead to insights regarding individuals who have symptoms of multiple personality disorder or schizophrenia or something like that. (I’m skeptical about those diagnoses, but I’m not an expert or anything close to it. I just… think about these issues sometimes.)
Anyway, back to the collective mind…
The collective mind uses individuals to express itself. And these individuals often have very different perspectives and values, which leads to arguments and different political parties, etc. For example, some people believe that homosexual couples should be allowed to get married. And other people strongly oppose them.
That makes sense… on some level.
But on another level, the level of the collective mind… that doesn’t really make sense, or at least it doesn’t seem to. It’s almost as if the collective mind is arguing with itself. (Like I wrote above, the collective mind seems to use individuals to express itself.) So on one hand, the collective mind supports homosexual marriage. But on the other hand, it opposes it.
It’s as if the collective mind is fighting with itself, as if it has some kind of multiple personality disorder or schizophrenia. (I think there are supposedly different kinds of schizophrenia?)
Where I’m going with this is… maybe some people’s minds are less individualized. Maybe their minds are more open… maybe too open? So more of the collective mind finds its way into their individual minds. And it shows up as multiple personality disorder or schizophrenia or some other label or diagnosis.
Maybe that’s why drugs such as marijuana are linked to some kinds of mental problems/diagnoses such as schizophrenia and multiple personality disorder. (Because drugs have a way of dissolving boundaries and making a person’s mind more open… open to the collective mind.)
Anyway, I thought I’d write this comment and hope it helps somehow.
@Marcy Fleming: ECT is used as a last resort to treat potentially suicidal subjects until the drugs kick in (can take a couple of weeks). I’m not sure that anyone understands why ECT works, just that it does (let’s touch base 100 years hence to discuss this point further).
I used to have quite a jaundiced view of ECT, but see it probably as one of the more benign tools in a pretty dodgy kit. (When in doubt, sedate!☺)
@Marcy Fleming:I have chatted with some schizophrenics who are able, at an intellectual level, to recognize the background voices as not belonging to real, distinct individuals, but as coming from within their own consciousness. Tricky thing is that the voices delve into their most intimate fears and insecurities – most people are able to box away insidious doubts in a way that they don’t encroach on ordinary life. If your greatest concern is for your family’s welfare, then that is what the voices speak to. Like the tongue that searches out the chipped tooth, the voices home in on the most exquisitely vulnerable points. At the time when they are interacting with you, the voices quiet. Medication can tone the voices down to a whisper at times, but never really banishes them.
Plenty of schizophrenics have no self-awareness whatsoever and cannot grasp that the voices may be solely an artefact.
I don’t want to appear dogmatic on this subject as I think neuroscience is an infant, and I’m a layman to boot. This is purely from personal observation.
Trenchant, ECT is about as scientific and therapeutic as banging a rock against a depressed person’s head.
And the more ‘treatments’ with ECT the greater the likelihood of permanent memory loss.
I’ve known many people who were subjected to ECT, usually involuntary, and none of them felt they had gained benefits
from this crude form of torture.

@Marcy Fleming: Electroshock is made to seem barbaric in the movies, but to my knowledge (observer☺) is one of the safest short-term measures for immediate but short-term relief of acute depression. Only short-term memory is affected, and not in a lasting sense.
I’m afraid I’m with DK on schizophrenia, but share your concern with the insanity plea in trial and sentence bargains. I share your concern for coerced treatment and isolation for non-aggressive subjects and wonder how long it will be before Holocaust disbelief will fall under the rubric of mental infirmity.

DK, has again misrepresented my view. I never denied that brain damage affects human behavior and in fact Szasz, Breggin and several others have written on the brain-disabling effects of the psychiatric drugs. Not to mention electroshock barbarism, prefrontal lobotomies and the general chemical castration involved with these drugs.
Breggin, an MD psychiatrist has actually written several books on these dangerous drugs and two books on electroshock ‘therapy’ alone.
What I denied was that these barbaric practices were involved in the treatment of any disease. For actual diseases of the brain there are treatments that help in cases of strokes but are less advanced for Alzheimer’s and the more severe forms of mental retardation.
There is no disease such as schizophrenia or manic depression or bi-polar disorder and many now doubt the attention deficit disorder ‘disease.’ Autism may be a real physical disease but it is so greatly over diagnosed that we don’t really know.
Contrary to DK psychiatry has from the beginning considered
so-called ‘mental illnesses’ as diseases of the mind as well as the brain. Every proof they bring forward is in the course of time refuted. See the above book by a former psychiatric patient which documents the widely disparate studies.
Paranoid schizophrenia has been the most common diagnosis for the past 150 years in psychiatry. It’s medically worthless.
Epistemologically Szasz and now many others have taken it apart on both medical and epistemological grounds.
Several studies have shown that it precisely the psychiatric medications given to people who as misdiagnosed as ‘paranoid schizophrenics’ which cause any brain damage they
have including enlarged ventricles. Though the great majority of diagnosed schizophrenics do not have enlarged ventricles.
Lefthanders who tend to be more creative than righthanders do have enlarged ventricles for reasons explained in the Modrow book.
Readers should at this point just check out the Szasz, Breggin, and Modrow books I have recommended and judge for themselves directly instead of accepting on faith the specious arguments of psychiatry’s apologists.
I would go one step further than Szasz and simply outlaw MD psychiatry. If people want to have voluntary ‘therapy’ with psychologists who have no legal powers of commitment they should be free to do so without the pretense of any sort of medicine being practiced here.
Psychiatry has always been a per se coercive religion. It should be classified with slavery and the burning of witches.
Like fractional reserve banking a la the Fed it is also fraud per se and under the Anglo-Saxon Common Law should be outlawed like the other two.
In How To Become A Schizophrenic:The Case Against Biological Psychiatry by John Modrow there are two chapters in Part Three, Schizophrenia as a Brain Defect and Schizophrenia as a Biochemical Defect which get into all the many studies about ventricular brain size which psychiatric advocates cherry pick the ones that they claim confirm their theses. In a 1983 review of such studies it was found that anywhere from 60 to 95% of those diagnosed as schizophrenics had no sign of brain atrophy or enlarged ventricles.
There are another dozen brain scan studies which show no difference at all between the ventricular size of diagnosed schizophrenics and the normal control subjects.
These studies by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) are considered far more reliable by researchers than the CAT scans. Also the effect of neuroleptic drugs on patients diagnosed as psychotic shows a marked deterioration in
such patients the longer they are on such drugs. These so-called anti-psychotic drugs actually function as a chemical straitjacket to those taking them and cause adverse
consequences in the frontal lobe areas.
All of the mass murderers of recent years were on such drugs.
The National Institute of Mental Health (part of NIH) did a study which found no differences between the hippocampi of diagnosed schizophrenics and normal control subjects.
In one instance in a separate study the entire hippocamus of a Connecticut mam was removed in 1953 by surgery and he never became schizophrenic at all. He had a pleasant personality which never changed and after the surgery was fully able to remember past history but had trouble learning new things or remembering events in his immediate past. Since biological psychiatry puts such great emphasis on the notion that schizophrenia is a disease localized in the hippocampus this is a significant refutation of that premise.
The book gets into the dopamine thesis at some length because it is one of the main props of modern psychiatry citing four major studies which contradicted each other, three of them showing that diagnosed schizophrenics do not have an elevated number of dopamine receptors. These studies were done in the US and three European countries.
This is just a brief synopsis of the areas studied in these two chapters highlighting some of the major contentions.
They go into the serotonin thesis , the twins studies and several other categories. The work of Dr. E. Fuller Torrey is strongly debunked.
As for hearing voices that is the paradigm bedrock of psychiatry but there’s no evidence that such a phenomenon
exists. Unlike the studies above this claim is impossible to refute scientifically by brain imaging studies.
Szasz goes on at length about this issue of hearing voices and considers it a form of role playing by ‘patients’ to give up responsibility for their actions, ‘the voices made me do it.’
That’s why Szasz wants the insanity defense abolished.
Psychiatry imprisons the innocent who have committed no crimes and excuses the guilty who have. The Dan White twinkie defense for a double murder at City Hall here in San Francisco is a classic case. Even though White’s victims were two loathsome leftists it’s still wrong for psychiatrists to have let him off the hook.

Kevin , I wonder how closely the effects of commercial TV have been studied in regard to ADHD ? So many mothers are just too weak and lazy not to let the TV act as babysitter . My own and my sister (as mother) included . I have had a couple of personal experiences with prepubic children as a before and after getting a TV in the home . The change was startling ! From happy and imaginative to fat and surly in a month ! From cheery to sulky .
As a psychologist you would understand (yes? ) how easily it can be for advertisers to push a childs button ; to enter into their subconscious , to perhaps set up contradictory urges that break out in delinquent behaviors . Great point, Bobby. We are all locked into a mode of thought which is not of our own making nor does it serve us well. We have been informed that depression is a disease which affects thinking and or the brain. In fact it is mood, an emotion. There is no way any one can discern the difference between the thoughts, feelings, physiology, actions or reports, including suicidal thoughts, of someone suffering from profound grief and someone who is depressed for no reason we find acceptable. One is declared perfectly normal and the other is a disease.
We also assume that the ways in which severe impairments such as schizophrenia manifest are totally beyond the capacity of the individual to control. Yet we know that some are violent and others are not. No explanation is offered.
I do think that some mental illnesses are real and unavoidable, causing great pain both to the victim and those who love them. Someone near and dear to me, a bright, regular guy with okay parents, was stricken in his early twenties. He heard voices telling him he had to kill his father. He checked himself into the hospital for help because, he said, “When God is telling you to do something it is hard to say no.” Same illness different reactions. We need new thinking.
@D. K.: The problem with arguments like yours is that everyone in the U.S. possibly the world, would be defined as having some kind of mental problem. We then come to the question of what is “normal” behavior. A long time friend of mine, was diagnosed with “Aspergers” syndrome as a child. Yet, he went on to get a degree in philosophy at Cal. State Fullerton. He repairs, paints, and knows cars like a mechanics mechanic. Yes, he does kind of repeat some thoughts, he does get excited when something excites him, yet doctors would say he needs medication, which he did take for a short while and then refused to continue. I’m sorry, I’m not convinced from the reading I’ve done, that the issue is as cut and dried as you make it out to be. Again, what would be the standard for normality, someone who doesn’t move or interact with anything or anyone, which is what it seems to be coming to.

A former ‘patient’ given an early label of ‘schizophrenia’ has written a very good book about it.
How To Become A Schizophrenic:The Case Against Biological Psychiatry by John Modrow. Not only Szasz but the former Chair of the Yale Psychiatry Department and a Ph.D Professor of Psychology at Michigan State have strongly endorsed this book. The first two parts are devoted to his own experiences and the third part the case against biological psychiatry.
Freud believed in both biological psychiatric and psychoanalysis, they are not anomalies contrary to DK, they are two sides of the same debased coin. There has never been any scientific proof that so-called ‘mental illnesses’ stem from the brain. The brain is subject to physical diseases that can be pathologically identified such as mental retardation, Alzheimer’s and brain strokes but these are physical diseases like cancer, heart attacks, AIDS, etc.
Also contrary to DK psychiatry has always maintained that ‘mental illness’ exists in the mind going back to the infamous beginnings of modern psychiatry in 1700 in Europe.

DK, I read Hoffer’s book in high school, I was profoundly unimpressed and I noticed our leftist President Eisenhower endorsed it back in the 50s, the only exception to his reading of Zane Grey westerns. I was born at the end of 1975 so I never Hoffer but my parents did and they thought he was your standard shallow liberal. Dad was an Irish rightist and Mom comes from a longtime Communist family. They lived

Any naturally occurring trait– such as, for instance, attentiveness– would be expected to come close to fitting the statistical Normal Curve, especially for the overwhelming majority of individuals that do not lie within the first few or last few percentiles, out on the opposing tails of the curve. There would be no theoretical reason to assume that even extreme individuals, on such a normal distribution, suffered from any disease. Thus, I believe that the vast majority of children (mostly boys) who are diagnosed as being ADHD are being labeled and medicated simply to make them more compliant to teachers’ needs and desires, not because they suffer from any genuine disease. As I said, early on here, I do believe that many, if not most, of the growing number of diagnoses found in the various succeeding editions of the DSM are bogus.
We see people in our society that suffer from Down’s Syndrome, and other forms of mental retardation, who have IQs that are similar to large numbers of seemingly healthy and normal individuals in sub-Saharan Africa. That is because the latter are healthy and normal, and are merely on the left-hand side of their own population’s distribution curve for IQ, while our own Down’s Syndrome retardates represent an anomalous bubble, on the left-hand side of our own IQ distribution curve, caused by disease.
People who suffer from schizophrenia and bipolar disorder– to cite just two prominent examples of severe mental illnesses– are not merely outliers on any one or more psychological attributes. It is quite clear that something is fundamentally wrong with their brains, either structurally and/or functionally. The fact that the etiologies of such diseases might be incompletely, or even wholly, unknown to doctors, at any given point in medical history, does not mean that there is no disease underlying the evident thought patterns and behavior that are so obviously distorted. The Black Death was not a myth or metaphor, simply because those living in the Fourteenth Century could not begin to comprehend the basis of the plague that wiped out a large minority, at least, of Europe’s population.

Perhaps someone who had the natural psychological profile to make them good at an extended Roman campaign or crusade to Jerusalem would be a crazy person today. Some people should be free to be a bit crazy, even if it inhibits their ability function in current society, because other abnormalities may well be adaptive.
Yes. OCD are people who are too high on the very good trait of being orderly and conscientious. Being high on it is still a good thing. And a lot of people have noted that ADHD kids (hyperactive) would be just fine before boys had to spend 5 hours a day sitting still in class. ADD,ADHD,etc. Instead of relaxing, this time of the year, since it has been turned into nothing, NOTHING, but commercialization, I get so tired that it leaves me a nervous wreck when it is mercifully over. (This is not what Christmas always was, a main part of it being mostly a focus on how to make children happy.)
One of the reasons I appreciate Christmas trees, if for no other, is that sitting close to one with a brandy or hot chocolate, takes my mind to nature and relaxes me. Farnham O’ Reilly’s writings on nature, always connect with me. I believe that European-Americans, for the most part, have largely lost this connection that they once had to nature and it is one reason, IN MY OPINION, that they can only think in terms of the corrupt system they are caught up in, since they believe it’s the only game in town, but that’s another subject. You have really confessed that you understand neither Rand or Popper. They couldn’t be more dissimilar. The leading anti-Rand website and it is pathetic, is run by avowed Popperians. I have not been a fan of Szasz, although one can never go too far in criticizing psychoanalysis. And I recently learned that he has been an opponent of using psychiatry for political purposes. Kerry Bolton has this passage in his soon-to-be published book, The Psychotic Left: “Dr Thomas Szasz, professor emeritus of psychiatry at the University of Syracuse, New York Upstate Medical University, and an eminent critique of Freudian psychiatry, has written that ‘we are replacing social controls justified by race with social controls justified by psychiatric diagnosis’.” The attempt to pathologize people the left doesn’t like is, of course, a major thrust of the Frankfurt School, and psychoanalysis was a big part of that. Bolton’s book turns the tables and shows the psycopathology of the left–an easy target.
I agree with those who think that psychiatry is prescribing way too many drugs. Most of them work by dulling emotions, so that millions of people are walking around barely remembering what it is like to be human. Drugged out zombies and substance abusers are not the sort of people to make a revolution.

Szasz was concerned, rightfully, about POLITICAL abuse of psychiatry. Namely, involuntary treatment and hospitalization of dissidents or weirdos. Hear hear right through. The intellectual destination of scatz is that the only difference between humans are ideas. Hence the next big justication for race replacement in the West. Nothing to worry about, just upload the ideas and the West carries on. Actually Szasz specifically debunked the false claim that the brains of people mislabeled schizophrenic were different.
He did in Schizophrenia:The Sacred Symbol Of Psychiatry,
in several books I recommended above including The Meaning
of Mind, Szasz Under Fire, Insanity and many others.
Szasz was indeed a scientist in that he approached the religion of psychiatric using scientific, medical criteria to debunk its claims to be a science and this is done via rational argument showing that all those studies have in fact been analyzed, dissected and refuted.
Szasz indeed demonstrated that there are no diseases of the mind as psychiatry has always claimed from the beginning
and that the issues associated with faulty thinking are epistemological, not medical, including the ‘bi-polar’ nonsense.
Szasz wrote about psychiatry decades before he wrote about libertarian concepts.
He also debunked the identical twins alleged propensity for ‘mental illness’ and as usual cited studies.
Depression is not a disease and does not affect the brain. It affects one’s thinking and torture, drugging, electroshock, imprisonment and lobotomies are not the answer to it.
Science is a method, not an end in itself and philosophers are as much entitled to use its methods as physicists.
In any case psychiatry is not medicine nor science nor treatment. It is base rhetoric and coercion.
Actual brain diseases like brain strokes and mental retardation do affect the mind but are real physical illnesses,
not bogus ‘mental illnesses’ as you falsely assert.
The only thing that you have demonstrated in that you never understood Szasz nor read him very deeply, if at all.

This sums it up fairly nicely, Marcy: Dr. Szasz never “proved” nor disproved anything scientifically. He was not a scientist, despite his medical training; he was a philosopher (of sorts), like any other guru. His so-called “proof” that mental illness is a myth is simply a categorical denial of its reality, based upon Classical Liberal (i.e., Libertarian) philosophical precepts, not scientific evidence.
He did not, for instance, demonstrate that the brains of those “labeled” as schizophrenic were identical to those who were not, in both structure and function. He did not demonstrate that those who are “labeled” as bipolar (manic depressives) are cycling through their depressive and maniacal phases in response to discernible external stimuli that are reproducible in others who have not been so labeled. He did not disprove the very high concordance for mental illnesses among identical twins, including those raised apart. He did not prove that it is impossible for diseases that effect the brain, whether structurally or functionally, to effect thought and behavior, as a direct result– which is precisely what mental illness means, as I have reiterated here several times, despite your fallacious assertions that mental illnesses are claimed by psychiatry to be merely “in one’s mind.”
DK, your comments on the mind are completely out to lunch. The mind is not part of the brain and none of the so-called ‘mental illnesses’ have any physical component as is the case with mental retardation or brain strokes. The analogy with mathematics is wrong because we can accurately state the empirical, inductive reasoning such as counting entities which led to mathematics. No such inductive, empirical evidence exist in psychiatry, it has been one fallacious hypothesis after another which has led to one blind alley after another.
Interested readers can consult Szasz’s The Myth Of Psychotherapy which traces the psychiatric religion here and that’s what psychiatry has been from the quack Mesmer to the present.
Insanity by Szasz is a great introduction and then later readers can tackle The Myth Of Mental Illness, Szasz’s first work and the most difficult for laypersons but not impossible to master.
None of your alleged experts have any better credentials and certainly you don’t.
Szasz is far more knowledgeable about psychiatry than any Ph.D psychologist.
The only circular reasoning here is by you repeating the already disputed assertion that ‘mental illness’s are a disease of the brain when no such evidence has ever been produced.

Szasz obviously found out that his clinical experience AND his thinking about it convinced him that psychiatry is a total fraud and that ‘mental illness’ is a mistaken concept like witchcraft was in the Middle Ages or ‘scientific socialism’

You merely say that they cannot be correct, because Dr. Szasz already has ruled out that possibility. @mari: Mari, I agree one-hundred percent since I’ve witnessed this in the medical field I had training in after my retail career ended. (I wanted it to end) A degree is basically useless, for a white male, and will soon be for a white female as well. Case in point, here in California we keep hearing about the need for nurses. So several community colleges have expanded their nursing schools, and some have even built fantastic new ones, (Cerritos College,etc.) Yet, at the same time Congress is allowing thousands upon thousands of nurses to come here from the Phillipines,etc.

Encouraging your White children to excell in math and science does no good at all because even if they get past the discrimination in college admissions and get a degree, they just won’t be hired. The problem for Whites is not math and science skills, but being unable to use them because of discrimination.
About the only thing a White man can do with a STEM degree is to get a job teaching math in some horrible ghetto high school where he will be subjected not only to the horrors of the black kids, but scrutinized and harassed by the black female administrators and teachers. They absolutely hate White teachers and do everything possible to get White teachers fired at the end of the first year before they get tenure.
The reality is, no matter how good a White is, the discrimination against us is so through and ferociously enforced that we are just banned from college and most jobs.

A college degree is useless for a White person, no matter what the degree. UCLA white male STEM grads just are not hired. The employeers prefer in order, asian foreign students who will have to leave when their student visas are up, then asians who are legal residents but not yet citizens, then asian citizens. A White man getting a degree in math, tech or science might as well get his degree in black gay women’s studies for all the good it will do him.

Franklin Roosevelt was a member of the Harvard board of overseers in the early 1920’s. He noticed that the freshman class of 1922 was one third jews. According to DK’s research, the percentage of jews in America was 3.2 in the 1920 census. That is a massive overrepresentation, much like the massive overrepresentation of black women in civil service jobs. Roosevelt thought that Harvard should scale down jewish percentage to 15 percent, lowering the jewish percentage about 1 or 2 percent a year.
That of course was before Roosevelt became president and hired all those communist jews in federal jobs.

A MINOR CORRECTION
to a previous quote of mine, namely:

That was still the case two years ago, but in the latest ranking, to which I had linked, the correct observation is:
UCLA beats three other Ivy League universities (and four altogether) . If the term “Ivy League” is still supposed mean something special, then both Dartmouth and Brown should have been kicked out of the club. According to the 2012 list of academic rankings, Dartmouth is a joke and Brown ties with Ohio State. Considering that UCBerkeley was ranked second two years ago (and is rather close to being in a tie with both Stanford and MIT), Asians who are California residents don’t have that much to complain about, whereeas non-Jewish Whites are also getting screwed big-time by both UCLA and UCBerkeley, according to the bar graph shown in the article.
The SPLC now hires people who have a demonstrated history of violent attacks on whites.

That was an interesting read. I also appreciated Unz exposing the Jewish “intellectual superiority” myth of themselves, which to me was already evident as such from previously mediocre PISA testing results from Israel, compared with high school students from European or Asian countries. How many more Jewish propaganda myths need to be deconstructed before those folks start to sense some humility or shame?
The weight of the accumulated evidence Unz presents would seem to be a sufficient basis for a much publicized class action lawsuit. There is currently an individual case pending before the Supreme Court, but that’s about a White girl who was denied by the U. of Texas in favor of Blacks or Hispanics, which appears to be more of a distraction from the more pertinent and blatant discrimination going on at private institutions in the Northeast. Defending against such a lawsuit would essentially force these universities to assert (Alan Dershowitz would love to do this), that all those Jews they accepted are just that much more special than the more intelligent Gentile applicants they rejected.
I would be curious to find out about the admissions policies for graduate and professional schools at top universities. There are more graduate students enrolled at some of the top Ivy League schools than undergraduates. I am aware of the Jewish privilege — because they’re so special, you know — that allows those to take the law school admission test a couple of days after everyone else, for religious reasons. The test prep organizations have a professional take the test on a Saturday with everyone else and then report to the Jewish cohort members what the test will be like, so they can prepare and get an edge over the others in the final score.
I thought it somewhat startling, that Unz would even bother to invoke Dartmouth. While the other “Ivy League” universities fall within the top 15, according to the most reputable ranking (www.shanghairanking.com/ARWU2012.html), Dartmouth doesn’t even fall within the top 150. Furthermore, Yale is somewhat overrated, whereas UCLA beats two other Ivy League schools.
If Harvard were really to admit applicants on a basis of meritocracy, they might as well eventually close down some of their departments since the really bright people would tend to focus on more rigorous fields, such as Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, Biology, and Math. They’re definitely not the kind of students who would want to major in Howl-o-Cost Studies, Women’s Studies, or International Relations, for instance. This is likely the best explanation for the phenomenon that I can think of, which Unz alluded to only vaguely by invoking Caltech.

All parents of children suffering from Autism spectrum (and, presumably, any other illness, mental or otherwise, that causes permanent, ongoing stress) are apparently to be banned from volunteering, let alone the holding of teaching licenses, because their lives are, ipso facto, too stressful, and their children thereby represent an insufferable risk to the public safety of America’s schoolchildren. That’s what’s happened to the white man, in part– a victim of his own success in American and most especially in Ivy League schools. Self-pity is not the solution, but understanding what has happened is a part of it, so this article is good; but the solution depends on individual motivation to succeed in academics and not just group solidarity. In fact success in academics requires decades of individual self motivation in environments where group belonging issues are pretty secondary. Like standardized testing. So let white men earn their lost ascendacy back one white man at a time, in part, through consistent application of effort to the circumstances– ie, WORK.
Here is another idea for whites when it comes to science math and engineering. Quit feeling sorry for yourselves and get busy training your kids to study their math and science every night and teach them to believe in their own ability to excel and push them forwards accordingly.
That is a lot of work and it doesnt leave a lot of time for whining about East Asians. Their over-representation in engineering is compliment to their cultural ability for work. They lack the same fake self serving referral and preference network that Jews have and we should make sure that we don’t judge that which is different the same way. Of course we should prefer our own kind and it should never stop us from admiring real cultural differences that we perhaps might consider emulating.

No ones life is stress free, certainly not mine. But most stresses are transient. If the theory that the murderer was autistic I would assume the stress is constant.
If we believed 1/10 of the blather about the future and our children as our most precious asset we would get serious about the real chances of improving education. In my youth it was very common for the best and brightest women to combine children and teaching as a later career. It might be the answer that thousands of overworked young women might choose. Even the Atlantic has been forced to acknowledge that women have been placed in impossible positions.

To begin with, I do want teachers who are qualified to teach, both by having the requisite knowledge and the requisite skills. Your Lake Wobegon desire to have K-12 teachers who come only from stress-free homes, like your own, is understandable; it is simply as unrealistic as that fictional town, where “all the children are above average.” You would prefer to have K-12 teachers who would not even begin to teach until they had proved themselves qualified– by producing adult children of their own of upstanding character! That rather cuts down on the potential supply, as well as the potential tenures, of potential K-12 teachers.
I have no contempt, at all, Alice, for the fictional June Cleaver, nor for Harriet Nelson– whether her fictional self or her actual self. There are simply too few such women, these days, to fill the ranks of K-12 teachers. Even if there were enough such women, June Cleaver and Harriet Nelson were who they were precisely because they wished to stay home and raise their own children. To fill the nation’s schoolrooms with such women would take them out of their own homes, where they had chosen to be, and push them into the workforce. That would be two-steps-forward-and-one-step-back; or else, one-step-forward-and-two-steps back….
Not everyone in the United States lives in rural Virginia, Alice. Where are you going to find the necessary teachers to fill the classrooms of New York, Los Angles, Chicago, etc., using your own desired qualifications, after you have fired all of those current teachers who could never hope to meet them?

Actually, it is older fathers which are associated with autism. Older mothers have other problems. It is an interesting point. I do not claim to have all the answers. I do know that an active father is vital to the healthy development of boys.
If you will forgive a personal example, when my eldest son was eleven or so, I asked him to help me move a heavy piece of furniture. We were both shocked when it quickly became clear that he was stronger than I. Such little things give young men dangerous ideas about their own power. One can nearly watch them think, why should I take orders from her? Thank heavens, my husband never laid a hand on our boys in anger. The fact that he could made all the difference. Adolescence and the associated testosterone poisoning which ensues is difficult both for the boy and anyone who must live with him. Much as I loved them, there were moments when I was sure the Brits had the right Idea – send them off to school and see if they have improved by graduation.
The feminist fantasy that if anyone can cope with sub-optimum circumstances everyone can has proven its worth. If we want to turn out better quality people we might want to consider the care and feeding of children as something other than an easy task to be done when more important matters leave time and energy.
@D. K.: Good to know you are not playing gotcha. I apologize, I was trying to reply to you while doing twenty other things. I was not trying to prosecute this “:case”. I was trying, evidently not successfully, to make a point about the questions which are raised in our culture and the automatic answers which we are expected to provide. The media, and by extension, the unthinking masses will continue to blame the usual suspects.
You seem to hold the belief, common to our failed culture, that we must be fair above all. If you have completed your degree, you have a right to be a teacher unless your are caught taking a little boy’s pants down, or holding an unpopular opinion.
I do not share that sentiment. Teaching is serious business. To do it well requires far more than the right credentials from our government. If we want to stop our decline we must focus on what is best for children not teachers. As an example, I do think a divorced woman trying to cope on her own with a trouble child, is the optimum candidate to teach kindergarden.
You clearly hold a different view as well as contempt for June Cleaver clones who actually take child rearing seriously. It seems we disagree.

The Jews are hostile toward Whites. Hatred of Whites is a big part of their world view. Furthermore, honesty is not a trait that Jews value. As Ron Unz’ research shows, Jews are maintaining and even increasing their overrepresentation in American leading educational institutions in general at a level that is far above levels warranted by their academic performance. Unz suggests that an important reason for the dramatic Jewish student overrepresentation is the large number of Jews in faculty and administrative positions at these institutions . As Andrew Joyce points out in his article “Free to Cheat” in the current issue of TOQ, ordinary Jews benefit from the corruption and power of their communal leaders.
On the other hand, many high achievers, who apparently are mostly White, when they get into our universities are not getting out with a degree. The Educational Testing Service did a study of higher education which showed that of high performance high school students who went on to college in 1980, only half had graduated seven years later.
One reason Jews are overrepresented is because Whites are being forced out.
How does this happen?
There are a multitude of answers to this question.
On some campuses, minorities have preferences in getting into classes. And Jews count themselves as a minority group. As Senator Joseph Lieberman famously stated, “I am a Jewish-American, a member of a Minority group.”
Grading on a curve is one way of downgrading White students that makes it very difficult for them to uncover evidence that they have been cheated. Indeed most White students don’t know how to go about exposing such a plot. But at least two law suits have been filed against universities for this crime. One named the University of Chicago as the defendant.

Furthermore, this reply does imply, yet again, that those teachers unfortunate enough to have troubled children, due to naturally occurring mental conditions, like the Autism spectrum or schizophrenia, should be barred from further teaching, as a reasonable public-safety measure. Your desire for “non-stressed” teachers and teaching candidates could be used to require perpetual monitoring of the private lives of all teachers, since any number of personal circumstances– bad marriages, jilted suitors, angry neighbors– would be easily as plausible as factors to risk bringing violence into the schoolroom, from outside of the school’s own parameters, as any teacher’s mentally unfit child.
What you claimed to know, then, Alice, also was fallacious: not knowing, at that point, what treatment the killer had received throughout his life for his mental condition is hardly the same thing as knowing that the dead mother had not previously “insure[d] that he received the help he needed.” Her allowing him apparent access to her large gun collection is what I myself had questioned, in my initial comment on the issue– and a relevant issue that was certainly not highlighted in your own initial comment on the subject, in which you railed about “gun control propaganda,” among other sins of the news media.
I replied, several hours later, with a news quote, in which it was stated that investigators had found no link between Nancy Lanza and the school– thus rendering the issue of hiring teachers with mentally disabled children wholly irrelevant to the current case. I then added:
“The modern notion that psychopathology is caused largely by bad parenting is a Jewish canard that is as worthless as the old religious one that held that it was caused by literal demon possession! The notion that what Adam Lanza did was likely the result of how he was parented in his affluent household is about as likely as my blue-collar upbringing’s being responsible for my inability to run a four-minute mile.”

“I did not prevent nor prohibit you, or anyone else, from asking that, or any other, question, Alice. Szasz did discuss the brain and chemistry. He just said, if they are whacked- this is not mental illness- it calls for a medical (physical) diagnosis. I say it is mental illness- that being anything blocking reason and clear thought, including genetic, structural malformation, bad diet, drugs, poisoning, etc.

I am not Catholic, but I found the imagery just beautiful (I suppose our resident village idiot, Tom, would raise some objection to it). I stood there watching it for some time. Everyone who saw it was stunned by its beauty: Asians, Indians, and of course Europeans and Americans of all stripes.

Arrogance is vanity & thus a sin, or at least a destructive personality trait (is there a difference?) To me arrogance arises out of a deep insecurity about ones beliefs – a way to compensate perhaps? On the other hand true humility (by which I mean to exclude insecurity or neurosis mistaken as such) arises from the calm surety that truth provides.
Perhaps I madden, but more & more it seems that the very graph of history seems to correlate with the prevailing ‘myth’ of the age. They say art reflects life & life reflects art – which seems reasonable enough in its causal aspect. Less remarked upon, however, is that myth reflects life if we embrace truth, but life reflects myth if we live in falsity.

A mental illness is not an illness that is only in one’s mind; it is an illness– thus, physical in nature– that alters one’s thought patterns and behavior. The brain controls all of one’s thoughts and actions; any number of things, besides organic brain damage, can cause such psychopathology– whether mild or severe, chronic or acute.
I have read several of Dr. Szasz’s books, and even saw him speak at one of my alma maters, during a series on psychiatry and the law, which I took for CLE credit, during my misspent lawyering days. I asked Dr. Szasz whether he had any clinical basis for one of his claims, other than his own personal beliefs. I was dumbstruck when he readily admitting that he did not– as if his simply believing it were scientific proof in itself!
I am not a believer in much of what passes for psychiatry and psychology. The real goal of the professions of mental health is to turn everyone into a patient, much as priests rely on all of us being sinners. That does not make mental illness itself, as a concept, a myth– even though many things in the DSM are merely bald attempts to medicalize anti-social, or even simply sub-optimal, behavior and thought patterns. Some of the diagnoses are outright fraudulent and iatrogenic– e.g., Dissociative Identity Disorder (“multiple personalities,” a la ‘Eve’ and ‘Sybil’).

I’ve never read Thomas Szasz’s books, but I appreciate that you are skeptical about mental illness and the big business that has been built around it. I’m tempted to put that term (mental illness) in quotes, but then it might sound like I’m being a jerk. The reason I’d like to put it in quotes is because I think it’s over-used and misused and… some people take advantage of that label and frame themselves as victims and use it as an excuse to get special, undeserved treatment.
And from what I’ve seen, many people who have mental problems were not relatively good people. Eventually their immoral actions/values/attitudes caught up with them. That seems clear to me, although it can sound harsh. (I don’t assume that’s the case for all people with serious mental problems.)
I used to have serious mental problems, but I’m so much better now. I think mental suffering (and different kinds of complex psychological problems) is very common in our messed up society/culture.
I still suffer, but I don’t ignore it when it comes into my life. Now, instead of trying to run away from it, I allow it to exist and be seen. In the past I would use different things to try to escape — tv, alcohol and other stuff, music, porn…
Our society has a smiley face on the outside, but so much serious suffering on the inside. And we seem to be in a vicious cycle, trying to find relief in things that are only causing more suffering.

There are no mental diseases or mental illnesses. All real illnesses are physical, like mental retardation.

I do not view teaching as a right. It is a position of great responsibility which is best done by intelligent, well adjusted, non-stressed people. What is Power is really something we all need to be spending a lot of time thinking about. Quality time too…our best thinking.
IMHO power is very much like ‘energy’ in the sense it comes in many many forms…context dependent forms. In context of human relations power needs a context of ‘to do what’, and it is always – always – relative. Relative to the sum of all other human forces wanting to act in that space as well.
There are many forms of power that could help us. But…because we have an enemy who already controls the space we need to control, our calculations of what power is, and how much we have of it, can be roughly simplified by simply using that rule that power is relative. By looking at the power the other party would have to act against anything we might want to do.
What is their infrastructure of power? In every context they have a concentration of power that is also a context in which we want to do something, or is capable of exerting influence over some other context in which we want to do somehting. Well..there you will find another context of power – that also defines what that power will have to be – that we will need to acquire.
That’s just stating the obvious, when you think about it.

What if I want to attack someone but want it to be self defense so do something that I know will provoke a reaction? Or what if I just lie and say that person intended to do harm? In the end it comes down to who has the connections, who controls the means of information and who pulls the strings.
The big excuse of the psychopathic abuser, for example, is that the other person was ‘asking for it’. Or that the other person is just blaming other people for their own failings. The psychopath is brilliant at projection and compartmentalization and rationalization. You want self-defense…no problem…it’s just a verbalization away.
The way Rand talks about this….and then uses it to her advantage…the way she is blind to the higher human expressions, but vividly sees the emotional ‘primary colours’. The way she proposes concepts like self-defense that are so maleable as to be worthless. This is all part of why, not part of why not.
Hi Richard. You could be correct but my experience of Jews, and I have a huge amount both personally and on my blog, suggests that most do not see that their behaviour can give rise to justifiable resentment.
In fact it’s not just now. I’ve spent a lot of time researching the history of anti-Semitism and found that one single characteristic prvailed all through. Pogroms and expulsions were always and totally the fault of the goyim. The finely tuned persecution complex has thus been honed over centuries.
Mickey, she opposes the initiation of physical force in all forms including fraud, and she believes that each person is an end in his or her self. Exactly the opposite of what is labeled psychopath though I think the word criminal is sufficient and we can ignore the psychiatric garbage terminology, largely of Jewish origin.

Integral Theory
Have others heard of it? It’s a kind of movement or way of looking at the world.
It is supposedly a theory of everything. Literally every thing. Every single thing. Ever.
And it claims to make sense and organize… everything.
Ken Wilber is probably the main person associated with Integral Theory. And although I’m not a well-read person, I am familiar with some of his writing and general ideas. In my opinion he seems sort of over-rated and arrogant. (I see arrogance inside myself, so I’m not claiming to be better than him in that area…) I think what concerns me is that the people around him seem to sort of worship him.
But some of his ideas (or ideas that are attributed to him or associated with Integral Theory) seem very helpful for any pro-White movement.
There are some easy-to-find introductions to Integral Theory on the internet. Some are in videos on YouTube, and some are text. If anyone is interested in it, there is a lot of freely available information on it. Tons.
A lot of people on T.O.O. seem brilliant and full of knowledge. (Smarter than me…) And I think Integral Theory can help people become even greater.

The Jewish dominated school system in America always seeks to remove genuine standards of excellence and reward mediocrity so they can snuff out any budding leadership class which might defend their race and country. Hense, “kill the best of the Gentiles.” Some countries like Sweden are experimenting with even more bizzare things such as gender reversal in some public schools. This was reported earlier this year by mainstream sources. Male children are encouraged to take on feminine roles and girls are encouraged to be agressive. So this is a very Jewish tactic namely to go after the most vulnerable parts of society and pervert it beyond recognition or hope. Why don’t they do this in Israel or Asian countries? Such a mystery.

I’m not one of those WN’s who believes that East Asians can only copy, but as a people they have a tendency to place more importance on technical perfection- and repeating that perfection as best they can, as often as they can- than expanding boundaries and exploring new forms.
In many ways that’s a positive, as they know what works and what doesn’t, and they don’t seem to have the problems of entartete kunst that we have, but in other ways it’s a drawback, as they won’t reach the same heights Europeans do when we’re at our best.
Same thing with IQ. Asians are, on average, smarter than us in the most basic sense. They have less idiots than we do, but they also have less geniuses. The society that places value on its best and brightest regardless of how well-off the inferior are will always be the more successful society. Our best are better than their best, and the same goes for the jews.

The average IQ of India compared to China is not terribly relevant, because the Indians that arrive here are a select group, mostly Brahmins as I understand. Furthermore, my point was not that they are brilliant.
Education in the United States does not presuppose brilliant students. It is run in such a way that a person of very ordinary intelligence can get very good grades by working hard.
My experience is that South-Asians and East-Asians alike tend to outperform Whites academically, for what appears to be the same reason. It’s not really because they are so brilliant.
East-Asians also have a reputation for cheating which seems to be not wholly undeserved.

I would say East Asians – or Orientals – are more honour based than South Asians – such as Indians. That nurse almost certainly killed herself because she was brutally bullied by the hospital management. Nothing about her suggests a psychology of someone who will go hang themselves because of a prank call. The hospital felt hugely embarassed and this would have gone right to the top. Probably the top man told some middle management grunt he expected ‘toughness’ which was duly and disproportionately/gratuitously dished out.

I think we have a huge amount of power (or potential power) now, in the present moment. Although we’re not using it, or even trying to find it. It’s difficult (maybe impossible) to put it into a statistic, but I suspect we are doing less than 1% of what we could be doing. (And I’m not trying to exaggerate.) That is something I’ve given some thought, and it seems about right to me.
Have you heard of Ray William Johnson?
Most people haven’t. As far as I know, he’s not famous. He’s “just” a guy. But somehow he has managed to build a huge following on YouTube. He gets a million views per video. (He puts out a couple short videos per week, which I don’t watch.)
That’s one example of how we can reach more White people. There are so many other ways to do it.
There are many ways to reach many White people here and now, without waiting for a huge multi-million dollar donation from a pro-White billionaire. (I’m not assuming that that is what you’re suggesting, Mickey.)
My comment here isn’t meant to be harsh or even a criticism toward anyone or the pro-White movement as a whole. Instead, I’m hoping to encourage others to… be open and curious about ways to reach people.

Pavel what you say is interesting and worth commenting on because where we are now is that historically you are totally correct but projecting into the future you are not correct.
Things are changing for 1/2 and 1/4 Jews. This is being driven by the shift of power in the Jewish world toward the Orthodox end. Half and quarter Jews are not Jewish and NOT MADE TO FEEL WELCOME. They are seen as a genetic threat even more than someone with no Jewish blood. This is because of a perception (probably real) that the barrier to intermarriage is considerably weakened when the non-Jew has some Jewish blood.
This viewpoint is felt much much more strongly by the orthodox race-supremacist streams of Judaism. These streams are in the process of becoming much more dominant. This is true in terms of demographics but also true politically, true in terms of what is happening in Israel, and true in terms of organized/activist Jewry.
We’re not seeing it clearly yet but this is because we’re now in the early stages of what is a Civil War – Jewish Style.
So…implications. One is that part-Jews and Jews with non-Othorthodox converts in their ancestry, are beginning to feel more and more like 2nd class citizens. What this means is that – certainly from the 1/4 Jews we can expect a lot more them to be both waking up to the realities of what Judaism is really all about, and also by the same coin identifying much more strongly with their 3/4 White ancestry.
Not sure whether this is going to be welcome, whether it’ll be a threat or whatever. But the way I see it, it’s going to be happening, and it’ll be a real force in the real world that presumably there will be ways to benefit from handled right.

I’m glad to see the focus is on enrollment instead of admissions in both Dr. MacDonald’s article and that of Ron Unz.
How well do you suppose universities treat those they have tried so hard to keep out, i.e. White students? Many of the White students who are admitted endure years of torment from administrators and faculty members who do not want them to take their rightful place in the professions. The abuse White students are subjected to inside the universities, including arbitrary grading, is a really ugly situation.
On some campuses, minorities even have preferences in getting into classes. And access to classes is fundamental to graduating on time.
International credit rating firms contribute to this situation in colleges and universities that issue their own bonds, like Harvard and the University of Virginia. High bond ratings mean schools pay lower interest to bond holders. Colleges and universities are judged more selective and, therefore, more deserving of higher credit ratings, the higher the average SAT scores of entering freshmen. But the credit rating firms do not consider whether any of those students with high SAT scores ever graduate.
They do not downgrade a school’s bond rating if none of the high scoring freshmen graduate.
In fact, according to a firm representative, Standard & Poors (S & P) looks favorably on what it calls the practice of “weeding out” students. Consequently, marginal minority students are transferred into prestigious colleges and universities from colleges without stringent entrance requirements to take the places of more capable White students who were deliberately forced out.

The most remarkable part of this article is that a Jew is pointing out Jewish power. Historically, this has been seen by the Jewish community as betrayal. Of heartening news to other races in North America (and all races are competitors), studies show that the Jewish race here is in decline. Jews are intermarrying at very high rates (about 50%), and the fertility of the non-Orthodox (the fiercest and most harmful to their competitors) is very low. In addition, younger Jews have significantly less loyalty to their race than previous generations. The Jews attending the Ivy League schools are receiving the most liberal education that money can buy, and are imbibing the very poisonous aracial values and philosophy that their antecedents conceived (as an anti-competitor strategy). The decreasing achievement among Jews in academia is doubtless a symptom of this. Future generations of Jews in North America will not only be fewer in number, but significantly less dedicated and effective than the current generation that maintains its stranglehold on our society, culture and political structure.

First off, 99% of Jews detest her, her philosophy is as much the antithesis of Judaism as it is of Christianity and Islam.

Although you may not be able to detect it from my typing, I had a good education and used it to home-school my kids. It will not surprise you to hear that I blame our current decline on the feminist degradation of both teaching as a career for women and the role of mothers. Turns out that kids need you when they need you, not when you have scheduled quality time. Family really does matter. From school bus barbarism to sex ed which results in ever higher incidences of pregnancy and STDs to ever lower literacy rates – the evidence is hitting us all over the head. He was an Ayn Rand fanatic and the books were based on her “philosophy”. Maybe I didn’t deserve to go to Harvard, but I also go rejected by schools like Cornell, Northwestern, Brown, and even Emory. So I went to the local State U.
The same thing happened when it came time to apply for grad school–though in this case, knowing that I had to have a perfect score to even have a chance at a top school, I had terrible anxiety and ended up with a score in the 96th percentile. And it was back to State U.

I was gravely concerned over his choice of reading material.
Now, this guy is not what I’d call a committed White Nationalist – but, he is sort of racial realist in some respects. However, this guy seems to think exclusively in economic terms – he, like the current GOP establishment, place their pursuit of material gain at the top of their list of priorities and if ‘race’ is anywhere on their list, it occupies a position that is far below their desire to base 100 percent of their decisions and views on what’s best for their individual wallets.
Rand, of course, is a jewess and this evil witch has managed to screw up the brains of who knows how many of our fellow White men and women. The emphasis upon radical individualism, the emphasis upon selfishness, adoption of an obsession that focuses on concerning oneself primarily with the pursuit of what’s best for the individual and ignoring the fact that very often this attitude can do tremendous harm and inflict incredible damage upon the racial group and ethnic family that is part of your tribal group – these are the attitudes that jews love to implant into the sponge-like brains of their racial competitors, because it weakens their racial competition and renders them easier to exploit and dominate. Well, I made a rather pointed negative comment about this book and it’s author and asked my old friend if he thought it to be a wise move to be reading ‘advice’ books which were written by an enemy who is fully committed to engineering the genocide and complete extermination of White European mankind – and did it ever occur to him that such an enemy as that might think it really clever to write ‘advice’ books that helped them plant ideas and seeds inside the heads of those they wished to destroy — whereby, if those ideas were adopted, that they would program White European people to embrace attitudes that would speed along their own racial destruction?
This is equivalent to two football teams deciding to meet for a Super Bowl Championship game, and the coach for the White team asks the coach for the Anti-White team to write up a playbook and game plan for the White team to use in the upcoming game. And, after being resoundingly defeated by a score of 55 – 0, the coach of the White team holds a press conference and proclaims that he just can’t figure out why the opposing team seem to know how to stop every offensive play he called and how their offense managed to know exactly which plays to call that would work against every defense he had in place.
I don’t know whether or not my old friend fully ‘got’ the point I was trying to make or not. To this day, he still will occasionally try to defend Ayn Rand’s philosophies, but not nearly as passionately as he once did. Perhaps I planted a seed or two of doubt in his mind, or perhaps not. At any rate, there needs to be a cardinal rule that White European men and women learn to adopt and follow and it is this:

Since MacDonald has pulled together the key passages from Unz’s article, commentators can draw attention to these passages first, and then see if they can get away with a link to TOO; but if not, the passages and the link to American Conservative may work as well.
Yes, the media has ignored Unz’s article; I noticed as well that the commentators at American Conservative were reluctant to draw MacDonald’s conclusions; which should not be surprising since Jews are increasingly colonizing the Paleoconservative camp. Another finding of Unz’s article is that black and mestizo affirmative action has come out of the white end of elite college enrollment, not out of the Jewish end.
If the Asian disparity were addressed, it too would probably come out of the percentage of whites enrolled, not out of the percentage of Jews enrolled.

About the restaurants. In Germany we have a lot of foreign restaurants. But German restaurants also. And they are re-gaining shares of the market. That is partly because the public has tested the foreign food and after some time comes happily back to German food. Also the German restaurants have accepeted the price fight and they are cheaper and offer a larger range of food. Also the wages in Germany in general are low. That helps us to get our work done by our own people.
Also there is something that is only in the area of “feeling”. In my small home town area it would look “strange” if I as an elderly German would go to a Turk restaurant and this way would bring money to those who would perhaps better stay in their own land.
Another example: At the parking lots of big stores in my country there is usually a fast-food small restaurant. In our neighbourhood that was Turk-food for some years. Now instead there is a German butcher who offers fast food, Schnitzel and so on. So now we have the possibillity the get German food there. If I go there, I feel fine. I think, that German woman there, who cooks and sells the food, she works hard all the day. She thinks, that German farmer/worker there (she reckonizes it by my clothes), coming and buying the food, he is working hard all days. But the main thought, maybe not a thought but an inner feeling is this: We are just normal Germans, standing together. A short look in the eyes, a small smile, some friendly words, nothing more is done, but it is the same feeling as Christmas evening. God has send his love to the world.
Of cause this is an apartheid system caused by the free will. We do not speak negative about foreigners but we prefer our own people whereever possible. — Usually we adopt new things from the USA five years later. Dr McDonald makes the important point that Jews today are a hostile elite in America (and much of the West) today. It is a tragedy that this fact is not widely understood by White people.
In 1932 Jews were an extremely hostile elite in the USSR, my own mother was aged 12 and one of five girls in an Orthodox Christian Ukrainian farming family. Her father sent her, then aged 12, to live in a city called Poltava, with a childless Jewish couple. She was not to see her Father again until 1941, by then aged 21, when the German Army rolled through town.
In 1932 Stalin ordered the Chekka (Secret Police) to confiscate all Grain and other food from the Ukrainian farms. If they met resistance at all, they were ordered to summarily shoot the Farmer and anyone else in the way, in the head, preferably in front of the family members. My Grandfather would have sent his daughter away because of her feisty disposition. She would certainly given the Chekka grief and likely had her Father shot.
This caused a massive famine, up to Eight Million people perished from starvation. Looking back we now know the USSR was completely dominated by Jews. Their descendants have now a grip on America at least as firm as it was in the old Soviet Union.
This was a real holocaust, unlike the fake one rammed down out throats by Hollywood. Jews are the World Champions in mass murder, no other tribe in the human family comes close.

What is relevant to us is that most modern Germans are brainwashed, and many themselves going into league with Jews; and modern Russia is economically dominated by Jews. It’s not that I don’t find the Second World War interesting, it is just that beyond a superficial understanding of the way in which the narrative we are fed about the War in the West is false, arguing over the finer points isn’t going to benefit us.
Though if there is one thing a study of history should tell us, it is that secession or political independence without massive technological superiority, backed by sufficient population and industrial capacity, is doomed to failure. Look at what happened to Serbia. Assuming the Northwest (or anywhere else) were to achieve independence, how long do you think it would survive under constant drone attacks? Do you think the multiculturalists would actually send in ground forces? How long do you think whites would tolerate no electricity, depleted uranium, and no gasoline?
Ironically, I think both Jason Speaks and Fender are on to something–though I think the solution takes a form they would both scoff at. Jason is right that we can’t “go off the grid,” insofar as we can’t all move into the Smokey Mountains and build log cabins and live off of MREs.
But Fender is right that we have to tune the Jews out. Their control of the narrative is an insidious form of thought control, and we can’t develop naturally or even truly be independent under it’s suffocating weight. We have to, collectively, tune out movies, television, popular music, and literature. We should read old books that have stood the test of time. We should make our own music and encourage our children to be musically literate by teaching them the repertoire and traditional folk music. We should eventually make our own cinema.
The news media is a bigger problem. We can’t remain ignorant of the state of affairs in the world. But we don’t have the resources to do our own reporting and to develop primary sources–though with the internet this might be feasible with the right kind of organizer. Nevertheless, we need filters to create a counter-narrative based on what objective facts that can be gleaned from the mainstream media. I think that Amren and Vdare are a good start in this regard, but just a start.
But most of all, we need to support each other economically and professionally. And in this respect, we probably need the Church (one of them, all of them working together, it doesn’t really matter). I think that the economic achievements of the Mormons should be carefully considered.
We are being economically dispossessed. Those of us who are older– have you been paying attention to “need-based” medicare. That is how the GOP is going to sell us out. That “spending cut” will mean that many of us will be wiped out by medical bills. For those of use who aren’t, the inheritance tax and QE will finish the job, meaning that there will be no financial basis for building families for those of us who are younger. Meanwhile, we can’t get into elite schools, which means it is difficult to become a partner at a big law firm, a VP at a major bank, or a lucrative residency. Again, this dispossession will discourage family building.
I think we need to act collectively to counter these economic trends. We can start with the money we save from not consuming Jewish entertainment.
So what does this entail? In essence, financially rewarding those whites who favor our survival. Going out of ones way to use a like-minded accountant, a like-minded lawyer, and a like-minded doctor. Patronizing restaurants owned by like-minded people. Eventually, buying groceries and automobiles from like-minded people. From there, production, even higher education are possibilities…

You’re right. it doesn’t matter how nice we are, if we try to assert ourselves in any way, we are labeled Nazis. KM is labeled that way, David Duke, and even Jared Taylor who refuses to name them. You can’t win if you want ANYTHING for whites. I agree that Hitler was right about some things, but I also agree that to make such a statement in normal public discourse is beyond the pale.
I will say this…as it is they don’t fear us. I think they SHOULD fear us. I think they really don’t have a handle on how pissed off white people are going to be when they wake up to find their country has been stolen from them. I’m a decent person and yet I have a very hard time controlling my anger over these issues.

There’s something… deeply moving about dark, stormy weather. It’s sort of spiritual. I feel a connection to (White) people that I love, people from my past, and even their ancestors. Maybe that sounds a little corny to some people? But it’s true. Whenever it’s stormy, I feel a beautiful connection to some of the beautiful White people that I’ve known.

I feel like you. I insist on using only White American men for everything. It is difficult to find White American men Drs anynmore. So I spent a couple hours on the phone with my health insurer and found that rarest of Drs, a White American man under the age of 40 near my home.
But who works in his office? About non Drs, each and every one is some sort of hispanic. At least they are not black.
All my Dr’s 8 partners are affirmative action women. So he is the only White man in the business.
Don;t you think he could have hired just one, just one White medical assistant or clerk? It is like that everywhere. My bank has about 2 Whites hidden away in the back. Los Angeles is not American. A person can spend an entire week doing errands all over town and not encounter on White person working in any bank, restaurant, store, medical office.
Hire a White contractor? Who does the work, illegal alien stone age indians straight from Honduras, Belize or some other primitive jungle.
I have stopped eating in restaurants because from Jack in the box to the most expenisve dinner houses it is straight no Whites need apply. When people ask me out I just invite them over and I cook dinner.

Kagan attended the elite public high school, Hunter College High in NYC. In order to qualify to take the entrance exam for Hunter High School, the (5th grade) students must score at least 90% on the state wide exam in reading and arithmatic. After that only the top scorers on (the second test), the Hunter entrance exam, are selected for admission. I suspect that Kagan’s SAT scores were satisfactory.

Dianne was accepted in 2 of those schools, Burke’s and Sacred Heart. She went to Sacred Heart because she lived in Pacific Heights and Sacred Heart was just a few blocks away.
Although accepted by Burke’s her Mom turned it down because she did not want to have to drive Dianne back and forth twice a day, Mom wanted a neighborhood school.
But to this day, 70 years later, Dianne often refers to the fact that she was not accepted at Hamlin’s close to home.

Average 110 is not all that great. It is not even bright normal.
Average Polish and German IQs are around 106 and 107. Ashekanzi jews are from Germany and Poland mostly. The russian jews are from the russian sector of Poland mostly. Sephardic jews IQs are lower from living among arabs for centuries. The Neast European jews have IQs similiar to the christians with whom they lived for centuries.
I didn’t notice that the Jews with whom I went to high school were all that more brilliant than the rest of us. They were reasonably smart of course, but we all were, because our parents were smart enough to earn enough money to buy homes and raise kids in an expensive suburb.
End of the year state required achievement test scores were always reported in the town newspaper. I know the catholic parish grade school always had a higher score in the yearly achievement tests than the mostly jewish public grade schools in town. That school was about half irish, half sicilian with a lot of first generation sicilians.
My high school was very big on everyone must go to college and made a big deal of it. They put the names and scores of the students with SAT scores over 1300 on bulletin boards. I don’t remember any jews who got over 1300. For you younger readers, back in the old days the highest score was 1600

Great research by Ron Unz showing the glaring double standards. But the typical American White likely believes that Jews have earned entry into all top institutions every time. Whites just assume that the system is fair because of the constant media illusions. The typical White student will not question Jewish or Asian hegemony and probably need something like a quota system just to get through the door. Even so, think of the advantages in hiring that Asians will have when so much of our business is going Eastward. And look at Canada for a glimpse of the future. Of the eight Ivy League schools, six have Jewish presidents. The remaining two presidents have Jewish spouses. Let’s hope that this information about the gross over-representation of Jews will incite protest.
And here’s a little something I wrote with hopes of waking up those that are not in-the-know. In the past I tried to simply convey the facts about Jewish control, but many would shy away due to political correctness. This time I took a more subtle approach by creating a story along with the facts. I hope you’ll enjoy it, and please feel free to circulate it.
A Day at the Mall (Anna’s Awakening)
My fiancée Anna suggested we go to the mall.
I asked where in particular. “Kohl’s” she replied.
Just out of the blue I mentioned that Kohl’s is Jewish owned.
“Are you racist?” she quickly replied.
I said no, just stating a fact about the store we’re heading to. And since we were on the topic, I also mentioned that a Jewish company, the Simon Property Group, owns many US malls.
While on our way there, I mentioned that Interpublic Group is Kohl’s ad agency and is Jewish owned.
Anna replied “I think you’re racist”.
I simply replied that I’m just stating another fact.
While we were on the subject, I also told Anna that of the four largest advertising agencies on earth, three are Jewish owned, and that most of the adverts we see on TV and in print are Jewish created.
“I did not know that” replied Anna.
While in the mall, Anna couldn’t help but notice the vast numbers of Latinos, Indians, Asians, Muslims, and Blacks at the mall also. Anna felt she was in a foreign country.
I told Anna that it’s due to the 1965 Emmanuel Celler Immigration Act, which was created and sponsored by the Jewish Lobby, and that by 2040 Whites will be a minority in their own country.
“You mean that’s why there are so many immigrants here?” asked Anna.
“Yep” I replied.
While leaving the store, Anna mentioned that the cashiers no longer wish her a Merry Christmas, but instead say Happy Holidays.
I told Anna that since 1940, there have been no less than thirteen Supreme Court cases initiated by the Jewish Lobby that completely forced Christianity out of the public’s eye, from public prayer to nativity scenes to cross displays, yet Jews are allowed to display the Menorah publicly.
“That’s so sad”, said Anna with a frown.
During our coffee break, Anna mentioned that the post office where she works has more minorities working there than Whites.
I told Anna that the main reason why her employer hires more minorities that Whites is due to the1964 Civil Rights Act which was strongly sponsored by Jewish congressman Celler and the Jewish Lobby that forced workplace integration and initiated Affirmative Action. It’s blatant reverse discrimination and no one is able to stop it due to the power of the Jewish Lobby today.
Add to this the 1954 Brown v Board of Ed, spearheaded by the Jewish Lobby, which forced school integration.
After leaving the store, I told Anna that the money she used to pay for her jeans was printed at the Federal Reserve, which was created by Jews and still owned by Jews.
“No way” said Anna. “The government runs it”.
I smirked a little, and told Anna that the Federal Reserve is a privately run Jewish cabal, owned by nine Jewish families and banks, plus the Rockefellers.
“You got to be kidding me” Anna replied in dismay.
While driving from the store, Anna told me she’s proud that her brother was accepted in Harvard. She also said it’s such a liberal school and that the school will grant a new charter for gays, lesbians, and transgender.

I explained to Anna that Jews have always voted Democratic and are Left liberals, always strongly promoting equal rights, immigration, and diversity. On the other hand, Jews in Israel strongly oppose diversity, intermarriage, and immigration.
As we relaxed in front of the TV, I mentioned to Anna that practically every movie, commercial, or sitcom she’s known was either produced, directed, written, and/or starred Jews. I asked her to simply name her favorite movie or sitcom, and see if I’m wrong.
While we were on the topic, I also said that most major media companies, including Disney, are Jewish owned.
Anna mentioned that most of the TV commercials, shows, and movies portray Blacks in a positive light and Whites in a negative way, and that there are so many Blacks in commercials these days.
I told Anna that it’s due to strict Jewish control of the mass media.
Anna’s facial expression said it all.
As we were watching the news, Anna asked why each minority group has their own political committee, such as La Raza, NAACP, etc., but Whites have none.
I told Anna that’s it’s strictly due to Jewish political and media control. Each time Whites attempt to start a group of their own, they are quickly demonized as Nazis, anti-Semitic, and racist. Each ethnic group has dozens of groups to further their interests, with Jews having hundreds, but Whites aren’t allowed one.
At the end of the day, Anna’s demeanor soured a little.
“Life’s not the same after what I learned today. Jews control the media, banking, and politics, plus we’re being governed and controlled by Jews, and we’re facing a slow genocide without anyone doing anything? I can’t believe this is happening! I always thought Jews were nice, and that they suffered so much for so long.”
I told Anna the reason why Jews have been kicked out of dozens of places over the last two millennia is not because of anti-Semitism, but because of Jewish ethnocentricity. Jews sometimes gain control their host nation, and just now we’re seeing the fruits of their labor for global control.
Later that night, Anna asked me to hold her tightly because she feared for the future. As I held her, we kept silent, while listening to the falling rain and the distant thunder rolling by.
Yes Jewish “intellectuals” will only play up their ethnic identity when it serves their purposes, i.e. “playing the victim.” Otherwise they will present themselves as self-loathing whites in order to inspire idealistic white youths or women and to encourage non-whites to be more aggressive. Textbook examples of this are Susan “Sontag”, Mikhail Lyubansky, Bill Maher, Jon “Stewart,” and Tim Wise. Naturally, for them a meritocracy is a Jewish oligarchy supported by a quiescent, amorphous gentile host.
This excellent article puts me in mind of the Weimer Republic, history does indeed repeat itself.

Mencken, as usual, hits the nail right in the head. Historically, Jews follow in the wake of creativity, industry, and culture, they never lead. They expect to be the beneficiaries of the creative and industrious efforts of others; they do not, for the most part, build great institutions, they only burrow into them once they have been built up, and this way, they gain effective control over them. Once the enterprise they have taken over is ruined, they proceed to the next one.
One relatively simple act might be to file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Education. The response could be interesting.
The best thing Whites can do in regard to jews is to stop listening to them. Stop caring what they have to say about anything, stop giving them your attention, and stop taking their interests to heart.
@Sanjay: According to the logic of MacDonald’s (and Unz’s) article, you’d have to ensure that Jews were not classified as “white”. Otherwise, you’d be back to square one.
Also, stopping non-white immigration into the US would be a more effective way to stop Asians from swamping the universities.
I believe that the infamous “anti-Semitic” quotas for the Ivy League colleges and universities, back in the day, were all set to at least 10% of a school’s overall student body. In contrast, here are the actual percentages of Jews in the United States, decade by decade, dating back to nearly the beginning of the Republic:

So, at their worst, circa 1940, the infamous quotas all admitted at least 277% of Jewish students, compared to the Jewish proportion of the overall American population. “Oh, the humanity…!”
this article further bolsters the view that Whites should not fight to eliminate affirmative action.
They should instead fight for explicit White quotas. Asians can work 24/7, become test taking champs and cream Whites in admissions.
Whites culture is different, we like to take 2 days off, spend time with our wives and children, spend time outdoors, live a wholesome life.
Explicit white quotas will be better in the long run for Whites, as it will motivate them to boost their fertility, and strengthen their white identity as well.
Anything which boosts white fertility is good, healthy and noble, whereas any policy initiative that undermines it is evil.
Emily Bazelon is a Jewish activist involved with AIPAC and other Jewish causes. Yet she says a low birth rates for white people are a “good thing” and that whites should be discriminated against by colleges.
