My grandfather was a survivor of the Lusitania, and my mother possesses a number of documents from the trip, including water-soaked paper money from his rescue. How would we go about having these items appraised?

      Hi Helene
My name is Mike. I own an original letter your grandfather sent to a friend after the disaster, a telegram he sent from Queenstown and a water stained Lusy postcard he sent to the friend. I can email you scans.

I am interested in Robert James Ewart as I believe he may be a relative of mine. My mothers maiden name is Ewart, her father was a James Ewart and came from the townland of Cormeen, near the village of Killylea in County Armagh, Northern Ireland. There is some family folk lore that a member of the family survived the sinking of the Lusitania. Any infomation about Robert James would be appreaciated, espaecially details of his parents, or siblings. Regards, John.
