As a 'key contact' for specific client projects such as graphical research analysis tools or distributed real-time services, the Website Developer is a central role as you will be overseeing all aspects of software delivery as part of a project team. They are also looking for someone who has an appreciation of cost and quality and has the businesses interests as priority when rolling out, managing or improving work. Thinking outside the box is a must and a ability to think strategically while managing daily function is a bonus.

They can guarantee that the role will be hands-on, working within a team offering both depth and breadth of technical capability. All of their projects work will be office based, with occasional travel to the client site, and operate within an open culture in which team members thrive on knowledge sharing, mutual trust and support.

Since clients demand that they stay at the technological cutting-edge, some of your time may be spent researching, blogging and presenting on new and emerging technologies; other activities may include mentoring and nurturing client service delivery within the company through formal continuing professional development activities. The majority of your time, however, will be in software development, underpinned by a strong desire to deliver beyond clients' expectations.

They are looking for someone who has:

- Expertise in one or more of Java, C# .Net or HTML5 development.
- OO design skills, including design patterns.
- Exposure to the full software development lifecycle and Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Good problem solving skills.
- Self-motivation and a willingness to work in a team.
- The ability to adapt and learn new technologies on the job.
- Experience of managing client projects
- A relevant degree/or educated to an acceptable level with relevant work experience.

They will also require the successful candidate to:

- Meet clients to identify their needs and liaising regularly with them;
- Draw up detailed website specifications;
- Design dynamic Landing Pages and Sales Funnels
- Design sample page layouts including text size and colours;
- Design graphics, animations and manipulating digital photographs/video testimonials;
- Register web domain names and organising the hosting of the website;
- Present initial design ideas to client;
- Code using a variety of software;
- Work with different content management systems;
- Search engine optimisation;
- Meet relevant legal requirements such as accessibility standards, freedom of information and privacy;
