Independent Syndication

The Independent's syndication department looks after the needs of those organisations that wish to license or re-use content from The Independent, i and The Independent on Sunday newspapers and their archives. The department is responsible for the protection, management and sales of everything which has copyright operated by The Independent, i and the Independent on Sunday.

Syndication

Whatever the requirement, our syndication department can provide the best content from the UK's three truly independent newspapers. We supply news stories, features, pictures and puzzles to clients ranging from international magazines to local news websites, from advertising websites to academic publishers. We understand the needs of our existing and potential client base and can give you a decision almost immediately depending on your requirements.

News service

Publishers looking to supplement the content in their own publication can subscribe to The Independent news service to receive an individually-tailored package of stories. Content is sent via a pre-arranged delivery mechanism of your choice as they are released in the paper, allowing you to select the articles you wish to carry and feed them directly into your editorial workflow.

Please contact us to learn how The Independent news service can become an integral part of your content coverage.

Article syndication

We can syndicate celebrity interviews, opinion pieces, fashion articles, in-depth news analysis and more. A huge wealth of our content is available to be syndicated to other publications. Wherever you are and whatever your interest, the syndication department will have features suited to your needs.

Complete the form below if you would like to sign up for our bi-weekly email providing detailed lists of articles available for syndication. Alternatively, do get in touch if you've seen a particular article in The Independent or at independent.co.uk that you’d like to reproduce.

Reprints

Coverage in The Independent can form an important part of your campaign. A positive review in the Business section or a feature in our Fashion pages can add gravitas to a business or product launch or to a set of financial results. Articles can be reprinted in a number of ways from images in leaflets to PDFs on your website. Please contact us to discuss your specific needs.

The Independent as a TV or film prop

Production companies wanting to add a sense of realism to their TV or film recordings can have a mocked-up version of The Independent created by our in-house designers to include headlines relevant to the storyline or photos of cast members. Real copies of the paper can also be made available for use as props. Please contact us to discuss your specific needs.

Image syndication and photo sales

We have a large library of photos and graphics available for syndication or reprints. Pictures and graphics add weight to a written piece and The Independent employs a number of photographers constantly loading new and exciting images covering a wealth of events and topics. Please contact us to discuss your specific needs.
