Kinkladze put up for sale
Derby manager Colin Todd has confirmed he is willing to allow midfielder Giorgi Kinkladze to leave the club.
Todd told Derby's official website: "If Giorgi wants to leave the club then I am prepared to sell him." The Georgia international has failed to hold down a first-team place with the Rams this season. Earlier in the campaign, Kinkladze demanded a meeting between himself, his lawyer and the Rams boss to discuss his lack of first-team opportunities. Limited chances Kinkladze told the Derby Evening Telegraph newspaper that he didn't feel he'd been given a fair first-team chance by Todd. "When Jim Smith left the club it was like losing my father. He brought me back to England and had faith in my ability," said Kinkladze. "I was bitterly disappointed when he lost his job but I tried to put that behind me." Kinkladze added: "I worked hard to get a chance under the new manager but it has not happened. "I hope the Derby fans understand my frustration because they have always been good to me."
