William Y. Sim - William attained his Bachelors of Science (B.S.) in Pharmacy from The University of Texas at Austin in 1962 and is licensed by the Texas Board of Pharmacy. He rose to become the Director of Sales and Marketing for Southeast Asia for the largest U.S. pharmaceutical company. He received his Doctor of Jurisprudence (J.D.) from The University of Houston in 1969 and holds the distinction of being the first Asian-American law graduate from the university. He serves on the Advisory Board for the University of Houston Law Center's Immigration Clinic. Since 1969, he has been licensed as an attorney and counselor at law by the Supreme Court of Texas and is board certified in Immigration and Nationality Law since 1979 by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He is admitted and qualified as an attorney in the federal courts of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas (Houston region), the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit (Texas-Louisiana-Mississippi), and the U.S. Supreme Court. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. He is fluent in Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese Chinese, Taiwanese, and other Chinese dialects. William enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife and their three children, and six grandchildren.

Troy Sim - Troy was born and raised in Houston, Texas and is a first generation Texan. He attended Westfield High School in north Houston. He attained his Bachelors of Arts (B.A.) in Government from The University of Texas at Austin in 1995 where he was inducted into the national political science honor society, Pi Sigma Alpha. He received his Doctor of Jurisprudence (J.D.) from The University of Houston in 1999 and is licensed as an attorney and counselor at law by the Supreme Court of Texas. He is admitted and qualified as an attorney in the federal courts of the U.S. District Courts for the Southern District of Texas (Houston region), Northern District of Texas (Dallas-Fort Worth region), and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit (Texas-Lousisiana-Mississippi). He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Troy and his wife have two daughters. He enjoys playing basketball with his daughters and watching them on the basketball court. He has coached youth and competitive AAU basketball, and taught Sunday school for many years. He also officiates Texas high school basketball. He is an avid Longhorn and bleeds burnt orange.
