The inaugural Euromoney Lebanon Conference will take place in Beirut on 9 June 2015. Supported by the Banque du Liban and the Capital Markets Authority the theme of the conference is Finance and Technology: Partners for Growth. Euromoney Conferences’ editorial team will lead the discussions ensuring independence, focus and insight.
The morning’s proceedings will begin with a series of one on one interviews with key figures in Lebanese finance – policymakers, private sector bankers and international financial leaders – followed by a panel discussion on the macro-economic and financial sector outlook.
We will then change gear and host an interactive digital debate with live twitter feeds: How can technology be a game changer in Lebanon?
The conference will look at the financing of start-ups, with a focus on technology companies. We will examine the various stages of a company’s life – start-up funding, growth financing and, finally, their participation in mainstream capital markets. We will hear from successful entrepreneurs and from those who financed and enabled them.
In all it will be a focused and fascinating journey designed to be an insightful, informative and inspirational experience for the local and international audience.
