NGW management continue to work tirelessly to make contact with NGW Champion Rampage Brown following his revelations that he would refuse to return to the Eastmount Centre with his NGW title. Unfortunatly, Rampage is still refusing to enter negotiations.

We\\\\\\\'ve had begun consulting lawyers and where we move next.

A few fans have questioned why we don\\\\\\\'t strip him of the belt and make him defend it on non-Eastmount shows. We are looking at some options at this point but the vital point is that the NGW championship has developed a strong reputation around the country in the 4 years of it\\\\\\\'s existence and vacating the title is something we would like to avoid if at all possible and we\\\\\\\'re still looking into if we can legally do it. The important point is that Rampage still physically has the belt in his hands. Would you like to try and take it off him?

But what we can say is that there IS some headway and we may have a lead on how to bring the belt back home. Something that may require a return to the big stage...
