Program Description

This activity is designed to review the current diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations for the potential biowarfare agents.

Intended Audience

This independent self study activity is designed for physicians, nurses, and nurse practitioners at all levels and settings in the healthcare industry.

Educational Objectives

Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:

  • Understand the microbiology and pathogenesis of the most important biowarfare agents
  • Develop keen understanding of their cutaneous manifestations
  • Order/interpret newest laboratory identification techniques
