Help & Tips

1. Reporting an Error

If you see an error in the details of an address or company information, do please let us know about it by clicking on the "Report an error" link on all the pages, we will try to rectify the problem as soon as possible.

2. Using Search

Type in the name of the company you wish to look for and wait for a while. A list of the nearest names will appear. Choose the company name you want and click "Go", or refine the list of names by typing in more to narrow down the list.

You can use Advanced Search to find what you want, or for specific phrases and filtering out other irrelevant information, you can use quotation marks (") on a search phrase (e.g. "Company Sdn. Bhd.") to narrow down the search to that exact phrase. Advanced search is only for registered users.

Tip : Press 'tab' for quickly jumping to the search field.

3. Company "Star" Rankings

Each company listed has a "Star" Ranking, from 1 to 5. However, this does not reflect real-life quality of service or products from the company as opinions differ.

4. Variations in Company Names

Why are there variations in company names? This is because we are trying to make your company as relevant as possible in the search results, taking into account differences in spellings and mistakes. Examples of such common variations: "Center" & "centre": If a company name has this word in it, both will be used for maximum impact. However, this will be removed on request if the company does not want variations in its name.

5. My Company is in the Wrong Category!

Because we usually use the nearest category, there will always be some differences. Also, category error may be due to a mistake by our source. If you find that your company is in the wrong category, please use the error report to write us the correct categories.

6. Why is my Name not on the Listing?

We DO NOT encourage posting names and personal phone number contacts unless it were the only source available, or belong to the proprietor. Staff turnover in a company usually happens quite often, especially for those in sales. We usually provide only company contact information, to provide an equal chance and prevent unfair advantage by providing person of contact such as for sales personnel.

7. How do you guarantee that the information is correct?

As stated in the disclaimer: We don't. There is a good reason for this; about 30% of the emails listed are probably not updated properly or are no longer used. Some 5% of the businesses addresses listed will probably have moved to a new location or are no longer available. The same with telephone contacts. Since usually we are not informed of these changes, the information provided will unfortunately be incorrect. We do strive to update these sorts of information, but this is a difficult and slow process. If you do find a contact that is wrong or outdated, you may contact us about it through the "Report any errors" link below the address.

8. Why does everything have to go through approval? Can't I edit my information?

If the information is open to edits, like Wikipedia, there is a chance that the information might be vandalized by other people. We approve the information one by one to verify that it is not fraud information, or competitors vandalizing the information.
