  • This new Air Traffic Control Tower is one of the tallest in the world; it stands 200 feet taller than its predecessor (Indianapolis Air Traffic Control Tower).
  • It was built as an early phase of the new midfield terminal project, scheduled for completion in 2008. This tower can also be used with the current terminal at the eastern end of the airport.
  • The Control Tower was topped off on May 18, 2004.
  • It is the tallest occupiable structure in Indianapolis outside of downtown.
