App

Module: Allows you to enable/disable all module features.

Launcher icon: Allows you to show/hide XInstaller icon in launcher (app drawer).

Expert mode: Allows you to use some experimental module features. Enable it only if you are advanced user.

 

Installations

Enable:

Downgrading apps: Allows you to downgrade your apps. You can install older app version over newer one without app data loss.

Installing unknown apps: Allows you to install apps from unknown sources. You can sideload any app.

Installing apps on external storage: Allows you to install all apps on the external SD card. Experimental feature (may or may not work on some device, can cause bugs), requires enabled Expert mode.

Auto installing: Allows you to automatically start installations, so you don't have to click on Install button to start installations.

Auto closing after installing: Allows you to automatically close installations, so you don't have to click on Done button to close installations.

Auto hiding when installing: Allows you to automatically hide installations, so you don't see any user interface related to installing.

Auto launching after installing: Allows you to automatically launch app after installations, so you don't have to click on Lauch button to launch app.

Backing up APK files: Allows you to backup APK file of installed app after installations. APK files are saved to XInstaller folder on the internal SD card.

Installing unsigned apps: Allows you to install unsigned apps. Experimental feature (may or may not work on some device, can cause bugs), requires enabled Expert mode.

Showing version info: Allows you to see version info during installations. Version info contains new and current app version (current version only if app is already installed).

Deleting APK files after installing: Allows you to delete installation APK files after installations.

 

Disable:

Checking signatures: Disables signatures checking during installations so you can install app over same app even if the signatures don't match.

Checking signatures (F-Droid): Disables signatures checking when installing apps in F-Droid.

Forward locking: Disables installing apps as protected. Paid apps are installed as normal apps.

Verifying apps: Disables apps verifying during installations.

Checking SDK version: Disables SDK version checking during installations so you can install apps which are not intended for your Android verson.

Installing in background: Disables installing apps in the background so root apps can't silently install other apps using root and pm tool.

Checking duplicated permissions: Disables checking for duplicated permissions so you can install apps even there are duplicated permisions.

 

Uninstallations

Enable:

Keeping apps data: Allows you to keep apps data (they are not deleted) after installations.

Uninstalling device administrators: Allows you to uninstall apps which are device administrators.

Auto uninstalling: Allows you to automatically start uninstallations, so you don't have to click on Uninstall button to start uninstallations.

Auto closing after uninstalling: Allows you to automatically close uninstallations, so you don't have to click on Done button to close uninstallations.

 

Disable:

Uninstalling in background: Disables uninstalling apps in the background so root apps can't silently uninstall other apps using root and pm tool.

 

 

Apps info

Enable:

Disabling system apps: Allows you to disable system apps so you can click on Disable button in App info to disable system app. Also you can enable/disable notification for system apps in App info.

Showing package names: Allows you to see package name of app in App info (above app version). Also if you long press package name, name will be copied to clipboard.

Launching apps: Allows you to launch apps after you click on app icon in App info.

Moving apps: Allows you to move some unmovable apps to external SD card after click on Move button in App info.

Exporting apps: Allows you to export APK file of app you after click on app name in App info. Also if you long press app name, name will be copied to clipboard.

Opening apps in Google Play: Allows you to open app in Google Play (if was installed from Google Play) after you long press app icon in App info.

Auto enabling clear buttons: Allows you to immediatelly clear apps data or cache after opening App info for any apps even if sizes of apps are not yet calculated.

Uninstalling system apps: Allows you to uninstall (delete) system apps after you long press Disable button in App info.

 

Misc

Enable:

Showing buttons when obscured: Allows you to click on special buttons (e.g. Install button) even if you are currently using some app which overlays device screen.

Debugging apps: Allows you to debug any apps even if they are undebuggable.

Auto backing up: Allows you to automatically start Android backup/restore process so you don't have to click on Backup/Restore button.

 

Disable:

Checking permissions: Disable checking for permissions, so your apps can use API if they don't declare proper permission in manifest. Experimental feature (may or may not work on some device, can cause bugs), requires enabled Expert mode.

Verifying JAR: Disables JAR files verifying. Experimental feature (may or may not work on some device, can cause bugs), requires enabled Expert mode.

Verifying signatures: Disables signatures verifying. Experimental feature (may or may not work on some device, can cause bugs), requires enabled Expert mode.

Checking Lucky Patcher: Disables checking for Lucky Patcher. Non system apps won't be able to detect whether Lucky Patcher is installed or not.

 

Backup and restore

 

Backup: You can backup your settings. Settings are saved to XInstaller.backup file in XInstaller folder.

Restore: You can restore your settings if you have settings backup.

Reset: You can reset your settings to default values.
