In the summer season the Alitalia Group provides service to 102 destinations, 27 in Italy and 75 in the rest of the world for a total of 164 routes served with more than 4500 weekly flights.
The Alitalia network allow convenient connections between the Italian provinces and the main international and intercontinental destinations.

Through its network, Alitalia ensures widespread coverage of Italy and offers directs flights to major European capitals, the countries of the Mediterranean basin and the intercontinental markets with the highest rate of development for traditional and business tourism.

The main highlights of Alitalia’s summer network are
  • the launch of new three-weekly service between Milan Malpensa and Shanghai for the duration of Expo Milan 2015;  
  • the launch of new three-weekly service between Rome and Seoul, South Korea;
  • the launch of new daily direct services to Abu Dhabi from Milan Malpensa and Venice,. With these new flights Alitalia has tripled its Abu Dhabi services to 42 weekly flights. From the United Arab Emirates capital passengers will be able to continue, thanks to Etihad Airways' extensive global connections, to over 30 destinations in the Middle East, Africa, Indian Subcontinent, Far East and Australia;
  • an increase in the intercontinental network, compared to the 2014 summer season, with the addition of frequencies to Brazil (+1 weekly frequency to Rio de Janeiro), to the USA (+2 weekly frequencies to Chicago), to Japan (+2 weekly frequencies on the Milan-Tokyo route) and the increase of frequencies beetween Rome-Abu Dhabi (+2 weekly frequencie·        
  • the strengthening of the codeshare agreement between Alitalia and airberlin, second largest German airline, making available  547 weekly direct Alitalia and airberlin codeshared flights between Italy and Germany, Austria and Switzerland, from the Italian airports of Rome Fiumicino, Milan Linate, Venice, Pisa, Florence, Naples, Catania, Cagliari, Olbia, Rimini, Lamezia Terme and from the German, Austrian and Swiss airports of Berlin, Dusseldorf, Stuttgart, Munich, Nuremberg, Baden, Wien and Zurich;
  • new summer seasonal flights from Milan Linate to Ibiza, Minorca, Palma de Mallorca, Bordeaux, Dubrovnik, Split, Corfù, Mikonos, Rhodes and Santorini;
  • on the international network, compared to 2014 summer season, there will be an increase of service to Holland (+7 weekly frequencies between Milan Linate and Amsterdam), Denmark (+6 weekly frequencies on Milan Linate – Copenhagen, +3 on Rome – Copenhagen routes), Germany (+1 on Rome – Frankfurt, +1 on Rome – Munich routes), United Kingdom (+1 on Milan Linate – London City route), Russia (+3 frequencies on Milan Malpensa – Moscow route); 
  • new direct service from Perugia and Pescara to Rome Fiumicino and from Ancona to Milan Linate
  • continued service, in territorial continuity, from Lampedusa to Palermo and Catania and from Pantelleria to Palermo and Trapani to provide the citizens of Lampedusa and Pantelleria reliable and consistent connections to Sicily, the rest of Italy and international and intercontinental destinations within Alitalia’s network;

The summer schedule started from March 29, 2015  and will be valid until October 24, 2015.
