Keep in mind, in NY, you have EVERYTHING! I'll bet that you even have inline skate shops. Here, you have to order most stuff online.

Am I going to go? HELL YES! I think that skipping opening day will be my best bet though. Probably will hit the park Monday morning. The kiddies should be in school then and the park will be usable for us older gents who do not want to stand around for an hour just to get one run in the bowl.

Park hours? Not sure really. They were supposed to have installed lighting so I would IMAGINE it will have nighttime hours similar to other parks in the 10-11 PM range.

It looks like the park will be lit up until 11:00 at night.

It was nice meeting you there too, REAPER0001.
Get harder wheels and you'll enjoy it more.

wont the harder weels create less traction and THUSS harder to stay VERTICAL:confused:

If you want more traction, go softer on the wheel, but you'll lose both height and speed. Less 'friction' means you'll go faster and higher!!

Vert is not about skating for speed. On flatland you skate for speed.
On vert, you pump for speed.wont the harder weels create less traction and THUSS harder to stay VERTICAL:confused:
