2011-2013: Calgary Stampeders

In 44 regular-season games with Calgary over the past three seasons, Taylor accumulated 3,055 kickoff-return yards, 1,637 punt-return yards and 659 missed-field goal-return yards. He added 39 catches for 321 yards and four touchdowns and 18 carries for 93 yards.

2010: New York Jets
Taylor signed with the New York Jets in the 2010 offseason. He was the shortest player in training camp when offseason workouts began. His performance in training camp caused him to become a subplot in HBO's Hard Knocks documentary series about the Jets. In the 2010 preseason, Taylor returned seven kickoffs for 175 yards and six punts for 58 yards and caught four passes

2009:Montreal Alouettes
In 2009 he was named the CFL's outstanding special teams player and an East Division All-Star, returning 89 punts for 788 total yards and two touchdowns, and 51 kickoffs for 1,059 total yards.He returned to the team at the end of the 2010 season.

He began his professional career with the Alouettes in 2008, earning the CFL's Special Teams Player of the Year Award the following season. He finished the 2009 season with 1,971 combined yards, the most in the CFL, while also scoring three touchdowns.
