DIGITALJOURNAL.COM – Country singer SaraBeth chatted with Digital Journal about her new single “I’m Sick of It,” as well as her plans for the future.

Regarding her new single “I’m Sick of It,” SaraBeth said, “It has been really exciting. It was the first song I ever wrote with Gwen Sebastian and Glen Mitchell. Glen plays guitar like a mad-man and he started playing this angry guitar lick, and it was inspired by the guitar lick that he was playing. Everybody was happy and nobody was going through a break-up. Gwen and I channeled our inner mean girls, and came up with the song,” SaraBeth said.

On her plans for the future, she said, “It has been an exciting couple of weeks, and you just hope that things come into place. Obviously, we are promoting the single that is out at radio, and the music video just got added to the Virgin-produced playlist, so Virgin Entertainment will have it in their hotels and airplanes, which is really exciting for the music video.”

She will be busy this summer doing shows, which will include appearances at CMA Music Festival. “I am going over to the U.K. and I will be doing 12 shows there. It should be a lot of fun,” she said.

SaraBeth listed country star Brett Eldredge as her dream male duet choice. “I love Brett Eldredge’s voice, and he is really easy on the eyes. He can sing anything. That would be really cool someday,” she said.

TENNESSEAN.COM – Country singer Brett Eldredge is challenging the phrase “the sky is the limit.”

The first time Eldredge got a No. 1 song, he jumped out of an airplane. The next time, he went diving with sharks. Now the “Lose My Mind” singer is planning his third adventuresome No. 1 celebration for his last chart topper “Mean To Me.”

This time he said he’s dining at a table suspended by a crane. He’s been working on the idea for months that will have him and his friends strapped to chairs and dangling hundreds of feet in the air as they eat a meal.

He hopes the food is light.

“It takes a while to get the crane and most of them are outside of the country,” Eldredge explained. “I want a strong one. Strong cranes only.”

Eldredge said that when it came to choosing his new single “Lose My Mind,” he applied the same strategy he used to pick his No. 1 celebration — he wanted something he hadn’t done yet.

“I get to do a little bit more of my soulful and bluesy vibe that I’ve always wanted to get out there,” he said of his catchy, up-tempo new single. “It’s the most crazy, wacky fun song I’ve had out there. It makes you want to move and groove.”

The 29-year-old Illinois native said “Lose My Mind” is about that person who consumes all of his thoughts, a situation he said he’s been in several times in his life.

“They make you lose your mind,” he said. “I could be sitting here doing this interview right now thinking about that girl because I can’t stop.”

Is he? “Maybe.”

Eldredge’s second album, home to “Lose My Mind,” will be out later this year. While there are still love songs and heartbreak songs on the project, he feels like he took it to a “whole different level.”

“I felt better in the studio than I ever have,” Eldredge said. “I’ve always had confidence because you have to as a musician, and you learn to have more the more you go on. But having the confidence of having three hits under your belt, it’s like, ‘Ok, I can go in there now knowing that if I deliver right, I’ve got my shot right now. My foot is in the door.'”

TASTEOFCOUNTRY.COM – Victoria’s Secret model Rachel Hilbert co-stars in Brett Eldredge‘s just released “Lose My Mind” music video. He admits he was pretty excited when she signed on, but more excited when the steamy kissing scenes proved to be anything but awkward.

Hilbert and Eldredge got to know each other before being asked to lock hips lips. When the singer shot the video for “Don’t Ya,” he tells Taste of Country, he had to lock lips with his costar as soon as they met.

“When you have a kissing scene, and there are some hot and steamy scenes in this video, it’s all about the relationship you have that with person, even if you just met ‘em,” Eldredge says. The end scenes are the ones he jokes that his mom had to close her eyes for.

“There’s one part where she shoves me on the desk … and I was literally knocking stuff out of the way and breaking people’s picture frames and stuff. Whatever,” he says, “It’s part of the job.”

Not a bad day at the office for this 29-year-old with three straight No. 1 hits. Hilbert’s addition to the “Lose My Mind” video came quickly. She literally agreed to do it one day, and was on the set in a white nurse’s outfit the next. The teenage boy within Eldredge was pretty pumped up about it, and he admits he did some “research” on her before showing up.

“Lose My Mind” is the first single from Eldredge’s much-anticipated new album. The “Beat of the Music” singer says releasing the new song and seeing so many positive reviews was a relief. He’ll read the tweets and comments from haters, but didn’t find many to bring him down. Now five singles in, he’s beginning to develop a signature style that fans can rely on.

“I think when you get some hits under your belt and people start knowing who you are as an artist, you get that momentum, and momentum is a beautiful thing.”

Still, he doesn’t want to rest on expectations. Several songs on the upcoming album introduce his soul and blues influences, something he set out to do. “Lose My Mind” is one of them.

“Now my job is to grow as an artist and stay inspired, but also use this opportunity to get my music out to even more people,” Eldredge insists.

As for the women in his videos … if you’re counting, Eldredge has featured two brunettes and two blondes thus far. He’s not hating on redheads, however.

“I’ve got a song from my next album that may end up being a single and it definitely may lean toward some ginger love,” he assures.

“My first girlfriend was a redhead.”

PEOPLE.COM – Brett Eldredge came up with video concept for his new single, “Lose My Mind,” while he was sitting on yet another airplane – thinking about girls.

“I’m a very high-strung guy, and I feel like I’m probably going crazy a lot of the time,” the single Eldredge, 29, told PEOPLE at the ACM Awards in Dallas on Sunday. “I just wanted to make a fun video, portraying the way a girl kinda makes you lose your mind and completely wraps all of your thoughts around her.”

The result? A high-spirited brush with utter craziness, with the singer confined to a straitjacket during parts of the clip. And seeing as how the song features lyrics such as, “You make all my screws come loose,” there was plenty to work with visually.

“Sitting on a plane, I literally started typing up how I thought it would be to do it, and here I am,” Eldredge said of the storyline. “You make it up and dream it and imagine it, and then you try to make it come true somehow.”

Eldredge, who presented at the 50th annual ACMs, took a moment to absorb the magnitude of the evening while speaking with PEOPLE.

“There are like 75,000 people here tonight. That’s about 10 times more than my hometown,” he said, recalling his days growing up in Paris, Illinois. “I always put that in perspective. When I’m playing a crowd of like 1,000, I think, ‘Oh, this is way more than I went to high school with.’ It makes you kind of recognize where you came from, and I love that feeling.

“I want to play everything and every size venue,” he added, “but I’ll never forget the place I came from.”

Song ideas come from all kinds of places. Sometimes they keep you awake at night and can drive you a little bit crazy. Brett Eldredge’s new single, “Lose My Mind,” is one of those songs.

“The day we wrote ‘Lose My Mind’ I had this groove in my head that kept me awake the night before,” said Eldredge. “This groove was driving me nuts. And a relationship can be like that too when a person completely takes control of your thoughts and you can’t do anything but think about them. It drives you completely crazy and makes you lose your mind. That’s what this song’s about. When you literally feel like you’re going crazy, but it’s because you’re so crazy about them and shows you how much you love them and you can’t get enough.”

Written by Eldredge, Ross Copperman and Heather Morgan, “Lose My Mind” is the first single from his forthcoming sophomore album coming later this year. The CMA New Artist of the Year’s new single is a quick blast of manic and utterly infectious energy and will be released to country radio on April 21.

The release of “Lose My Mind” follows a run of three consecutive No. 1s from his debut album, BRING YOU BACK. Eldredge will join Darius Rucker’s Southern Style Tour, beginning May 14 in Holmdel, New Jersey.

Brett attended the 50th Academy of Country Music Awards last night as he was a presenter. Unfortunately he was not nominated and did not perform but he still looked handsome. USATODAY.COM – Over the past couple of years, Brett Eldredge has coolly set himself up as a dashing alternative to tailgate-party country. Lose My Mind, the first single from a new album due later this year, combines a manically insistent groove with call-and-response slide-guitar hooks to set up the jangled-nerve joyfulness Eldredge feels about a lover that makes “all my screws come loose.” Pay close attention, and you might catch a nod to Gnarls Barkley’s 2006 pop hit Crazy.

Written with Ross Copperman and Heather Morgan, Eldredge’s Lose My Mind should join previous hits Don’t Ya, Beat of the Music and Mean to Me near the top of the country charts.
