Grandmaster Flash is arguably one of the founding fathers of hip-hop, so of course fans would be seek his opinion on many topics within the genre. The DJ recently revealed his thoughts on graffiti art, stating that the craft is actually not a part of hip-hop culture, despite being included as one of the four elements. While speaking in a discussion with pioneers Fargo and Blade, the trio state that they believe graffiti was grouped with hip-hop culture by the media, but there is no actual correlation.
