Stephen Strasburg pitched his first career complete game on Sunday, topping off a sweep of the Phillies. It earned him a Gatorade bath, courtesy of Tyler Clippard and Craig Stammen. The Nats starter, who earlier in the season expressed frustration at not seeing any eighth innings, shook the drink off his cap, shimmied his shoulders and showed off the rather elusive Strasburg smile.

Jayson Werth got his own Gatorade bath on Saturday after making his 1,000th hit a two-run homer. His came at the hands of a brave Bryce Harper.

“That’ll cost him,” said a soaked and distracted Werth. “What were you saying?”

“That was good,” he continued. “I’ll talk to Bryce about that one when I get inside.”
