Team Canada was not going to be denied especially with the boost given by Zack Hyman who returned after missing some games with an undisclosed injury. Any thoughts that Zack was not ready were quickly erased and finished the game with a hat trick leading the potent Canadian offence. The game was never in doubt and the Canadian team was able to roll 4 lines that kept the play in the American end for most of the game. The Canadians finished the tournament undefeated, a real testament to the quality of hockey in Canada along with the management of Alex Voihanski who assembled a powerhouse squad.
