OUR NEW LIMITED STOP SERVICE TO LUTON FROM NEW BARNET AND ST ALBANS VIA LUTON AIRPORT

Whether you’re flying off on holiday from Luton Airport, making a train journey on business, heading for the shops in Luton Mall or visiting friends and relations in North London, our brand new Limited Stop route 714 could well make your journey easier!

Route 714 will offer you:

  • Direct service between New Barnet Station, London Colney, St Albans, Harpenden and Luton Station, also calling at Luton Airport terminal building
    • Limited but convenient intermediate stops to speed your journey – see stopping points tab.
    • 14 journeys each way daily (10 on Sundays and public holidays) from early in the morning to late at night – see timetable tab for details
  • Economical fares – great value!
    • for example, from New Barnet to Luton an adult single ticket will cost just £6, our Metroline Day Rover at £6.40 will be perfect for a return trip on the same day - also use it on our routes 84/84A/84B and 242 – while a Group Day Explorer for just £12.50 allows up to 4 people (adults/children) to travel all day!
  • Bargain tickets for regular commuters will include
    • Our Metroline Rovers valid for unlimited travel throughout routes 84/84A/84B, 242 and 714 for just £28 for a weekly ticket or £79 for a calendar month
    • Our new Luton 7 ticket - as many trips as you like between Harpenden (Southdown) and Luton Station Interchange (only on route 714) at just £16.50 a week

    • Under 5s go free (up to 2 kids accompanied by an adult)
    • 5 to 13 year olds go for half the adult fare

    • 16 to 18 year olds can still travel at half-fare with a valid Saver card
  • English National Travel Concession passes and London Councils’ Freedom passes accepted throughout the route subject to the schemes’ conditions.
