Harry Receives 66-67 Souvenir

Thu, 1st May 2014 11:11pm

Another important piece of club business was completed this week as, following the recent Hall of Fame event, Harry Hood was officially presented with his salver to acknowledge his part in the 1966-67 team.

Harry had been unwell and unable to attend the celebratory dinner, however his presence in the dugout at Sunday's Legends Match afforded club directors Gary Ballantyne and Bobby Gracey the opportunity to present Harry with his salver, a copy of the Unsung Heroes book and a match programme from the match against Albion Rovers, which carried a double-page feature on the event.

The three men are pictured on the homepage at Broadwood on Sunday.

Harry expressed both his regret at not being able to attend on the night and his gratitude at receiving the award.

His team inclusion means that he joins Tommy McCulloch in being inducted into the Hall of Fame for a second time, having previously been added in his own right last year.
