Since 2010, Beers has worked with emerging and established artists to explore a diverse exhibition programme dedicated to thematic, aesthetic, and political concepts, highlighting an approach to contemporary art that is both progressive and thought-provoking.
The gallery upholds an active fair schedule including participation in Art15 London, Art Basel Week and Art Basel Miami Week, as well as Armory Week in New York, among others. In autumn 2014, Director Kurt Beers authored 100 Painters of Tomorrow, published by Thames & Hudson, which was adjudicated by a panel of prominent figures in the arts in search of some of the worlds most exciting emerging painters working today. In the summer of 2015, Beers will present The Fantasy of Representation including work by Gary Hume, David Hockney, Hurvin Anderson and Josef Albers, to pair emerging and well-established representational painters, which will be curated, in part, by artist Andrew Salgado. Later in 2015, the off-site group exhibition artistsartists will showcase work by 30 London-based artists who themselves have been selected by other artists; organizers for this exciting project are Ivan Massow, collector, philanthropist and former Chair of Londons Institute of Contemporary Arts, Nancy Durrant, Arts Commissioning Editor of The Times, and Kurt Beers.
Through continued collaboration with artists and organizations, the goal of Beers continues to strive to celebrate, share, and exhibit contemporary art in London and worldwide.
