X Factor host Luke Jacobz tells court ‘I couldn’t be more regretful and apologetic’ over drink driving

Luke Jacobz (right), who played a policeman in “Home and Away”, says he has learned his lesson.

LUKE Jacobz has apologised for being caught drink driving.

The X Factor host and former Home and Away actor, who did not appear, was represented by a lawyer in a Sydney court this morning.

“I couldn’t be more regretful and apologetic,” the TV star said in a statement.

“My decision to drive my car the morning after a late dinner with friends is a wake-up call for me that the effects of alcohol stay in our bodies longer than we realise.”

Jacobz allegedly returned a low-range blood-alcohol reading of .116 when police pulled him over and breath tested the actor on Anzac Parade at Moore Park at 11.20am on May 31.
