Summer Date Nights in Park City

If you are looking for a way to escape the summer heat and have a special night with your sweetie or impress a potential love interest, Park City should be at the top of your list for a date night location. Nestled up in the mountains, you will find charm, cool canyon breezes, music, entertainment, delicious cuisine, and many opportunities for fun and enjoyment. There are options available for all occasions and budgets, so do your research beforehand and plan a date night that will be sure to thrill your date.



Dining


One of the coolest features you may not have noticed on your previous trips to Park City is the lack of chain restaurants in Historic Park City. As you drive through Historic Main Street, you will not find a McDonald’s, Subway or Red Lobster. This means wherever you choose to eat, you cannot go wrong as all of your options are local and will give you a unique experience you will not have elsewhere. Park City offers a wonderful variety of activities that are sure to please, whether you are seeking an adrenaline rush, live music, to enjoy nature, or to do a little shopping. There is sure to be something that will make sure your date night memorable:


Alpine Slide, Alpine Coaster and Zipline: Located at the Park City Mountain Resort, you can buy packages that will allow you to experience one, two, or all three fun activities. The more you bundle together, the more you save.


Hiking and Mountain Biking: Offering over 70 miles of trails, you can add a little exercise and time with nature to your date night. There are a variety of difficulty levels, so you can choose one that fits your style.


Star Gazing: Taking you miles away from city lights, one of the charms Park City offers is being able to take a drive away from Historic Main Street and find a place to park and watch the stars.


Shopping: Historic Main Street boasts many art galleries, speciality shops, and even spas. Depending on what you are looking for, or if you just want to window shop, you can have an enjoyable time here. The Tanger Outlets just off the freeway offer more popularly known shopping experiences.


Olympic Park Attractions: The Olympic Park, a fantastic prize left over from Salt Lake City hosting the 2002 Winter Olympic Games, offers many attractions such as the Flying Ace All-Star Freestyle Pool Show, Summer Comet Bobsled Rides, and Extreme Ziplining. You can also take guided tours of the Olympic Park to learn more about the events.


Free Concert Series at Canyons Resort: If your idea of a perfect date includes live music ringing through a picturesque mountain resort, you are in luck. Canyons Resort hosts concerts throughout the summer and the best part is they are free of charge.
