Coach Dan Mullen has seen his Mississippi State team experience its share of injuries during training camp this fall.
The Bulldogs have had a number of his skilled players suffer minor to big injuries.
Junior tight end Malcolm Johnson has been touch and go with an undisclosed injury since before classes got back underway last Monday.
Mullen expects him to be ready for this weekend's season opener against No. 13 (Associated Press) Oklahoma State in Houston, Tex.
