Don't upgrade
The app truly is totally redesigned. But when they say the new sections are "curated", it's code for "limited", as in you get a reduced collection of articles as compared to the old version of the app. As far as I can tell, this is really more of a downgrade. Disappointing.
Where is the news?
What a disappointment😢. I downloaded the new app thinking I'd get an enhanced news experience as a globe unlimited subscriber only to find three sections and the need to constantly scroll to find anything. Don't download the new app, you will regret it.

ZERO STARS!!!
You can no longer choose relevant sections directly - in fact, sections are gone altogether - but have to scroll through what they seem to think is thematic curation. The old version suffered from too few updates, but was infinitely more useful than this failed attempt to look trendy. A triumph of style over substance.
