Claire Bennie

Claire Bennie is the director of development at Peabody, one of the oldest and largest housing providers in the capital. The company currently owns and manages an estimated 27,000 homes in London, with over 70,000 residents. Bennie is responsible for a programme developing over 5,000 new homes across 12 London boroughs. She was a project architect for the Greenwich Millennium Village, which has become a legacy of the 2012 Olympics, and runs a website devoted to London’s Art Deco mansion blocks. Bennie is perhaps the most significant commissioner of work from emerging architects.
